Kajabi is an all-in-one platform for experts and course creators who want products, a website, a community and checkout under one login at a flat monthly price. The catch, as of Oct 2026, is that 'no revenue share' still leaves two fee layers: Kajabi Payments card rates, and an extra fee if you use a third-party processor.
Kajabi's headline promise is that it doesn't take a cut of your sales. I read Kajabi's pricing page, including the fee table lower down, and the promise holds, but it isn't the whole story on what each sale costs you.
Kajabi Basic, Growth and Pro at a glance
| Plan | Price | What's included | The limit that bites |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | 179 dollars a month billed monthly, or 143 a month billed annually | 5 products, 2,500 contacts, 1 website, 1 community, 2 admin users | 0 AI credits, and a 2 percent extra fee on outside processors |
| Growth | 249 dollars a month billed monthly, or 199 a month billed annually | 50 products, 25,000 contacts, 1 website, 1 community, 11 admin users | Still one website and one community |
| Pro | 499 dollars a month billed monthly, or 399 a month billed annually | Unlimited products, 100,000 contacts, 3 websites, 3 communities, 26 admin users | The highest monthly price of the three |
Prices as listed on Kajabi's pricing page, as of Oct 2026, check the vendor's page before you buy. The annual toggle says it saves 20%, which the page shows as 432 dollars a year on Basic, 600 on Growth and 1,200 on Pro. The page names no currency.
What 'no revenue share' leaves out
Kajabi's page answers the question directly: Kajabi doesn't take a revenue share as a platform, and you keep whatever you earn. In the same answer it adds that there's a standard credit card processing fee for Kajabi Payments, which differs by country.
That's the first layer. For US entities, the page lists Kajabi Payments at 2.9 percent plus 30 cents on Basic, 2.8 percent plus 30 cents on Growth and 2.7 percent plus 30 cents on Pro. So the processing rate drops a little as you move up a plan.
The second layer only shows up if you'd rather use another payment provider. Then Kajabi adds its own fee on top: 2 percent on Basic, 1 percent on Growth and 0.5 percent on Pro. PayPal and Kajabi Payments are excluded from that extra fee.
So if you're on Basic and plan to take payments through an outside provider, you'll pay that provider's charges plus Kajabi's 2 percent. On Kajabi Payments or PayPal, the extra layer goes away. It's worth deciding how you'll take payments before you connect anything.
AI credits and the limits that push you up a plan
Basic includes 0 AI credits, Growth 500 and Pro 1,000, and the page says you can buy 500 AI credits for 15 dollars a month. The limits are the other reason to move: Basic stops at 5 products and 2,500 contacts, Growth goes to 50 products and 25,000 contacts, and Pro offers unlimited products, 100,000 contacts, 3 websites and 3 communities.
Kajabi's own advice on where to start is refreshingly plain. If you haven't sold anything yet, the page says Basic is the plan for you. Growth makes sense once revenue is coming in and your list is past a few thousand people. Pro is for anyone running more than one brand, or who wants their own app in the App Store.
What Kajabi does for a course business
Kajabi puts your products, contacts, website and community in one account, with checkout through Kajabi Payments. On Basic that means one website and one community, room for 5 products and two admin users. Each plan card also lists further features beyond the core list, and the page says there are no hidden fees and you can cancel anytime. The idea is that you don't stitch separate tools together: you build the course, the sales page and the community in the same place and take payment there too.
If you're still comparing options, there's a wider guide to online course platforms on the site, and I've also written about using AI as a coach or course creator if you want to speed up the content side.

Kajabi suits these course sellers, not those
It suits:
- Experts and course creators who want products, a website, a community and checkout in one place.
- People happy to pay a flat monthly price, starting on Basic before the first sale as the page suggests.
- Businesses with revenue coming in and a list past a few thousand people, who the page points to Growth.
I'd skip it if:
- You're watching every dollar before your first sale, since Basic is 179 dollars a month billed monthly.
- You want a free plan. The page offers plans, not a free tier.
- You plan to use an outside payment provider on Basic and don't want the extra 2 percent on each sale.
Kajabi advice before you pick a plan
I'd take Kajabi's own suggestion and start on Basic if you haven't sold yet, then move to Growth once money and contacts are coming in. Before you connect payments, decide whether you'll use Kajabi Payments, PayPal or another provider, because only the third route adds Kajabi's extra fee. And don't read 'no revenue share' as 'no fees': the card rate still comes off every sale. If you're sure you'll stay a year, the annual toggle brings Basic down to 143 a month. Please can you check Kajabi's pricing page yourself before you buy, as plans change.
