LinkedIn Email Finder Chrome Extensions (2026): 8 Compared

A LinkedIn email finder Chrome extension sits on a LinkedIn profile or company page and looks up a work email address for the person you're viewing. Most also work on ordinary websites and save leads to a list or CRM. The eight below are Chrome Web Store listings in no particular order, described only by what each listing says.

Finding the right person on LinkedIn is the easy part; reaching them outside LinkedIn's inbox is harder. These extensions add a lookup to the profile you're viewing and look for a work email address, so you can write to them directly.

Every description here comes from each extension's own Chrome Web Store listing, so the claims are theirs, not mine. When you contact anyone you find, follow LinkedIn's own terms and the data protection rules that apply to you. If you're still shaping the outreach itself, my guide to cold emails that get replies picks up where these tools stop.

How these email finder extensions were compared

Each extension comes from its Chrome Web Store listing and was compared on what that listing shows: users, star rating, number of ratings, last updated date and the publisher. The users, ratings and dates in the entries further down are as each listing showed them, as of Oct 2026. In the free plan column, Yes means the listing names a free plan or free lookups; Not stated means it doesn't say.

Eight email finders for LinkedIn and the web, A to Z

Mailsumo Mail Finder

Snov.io Email Finder

Best for: Collecting leads from any website as you go, with a free plan named on the listing; 400,000 users and a 4.9 rating.

Similar user numbers, very different ratings counts

On the Chrome Web Store, Hunter shows 12.5K ratings on 700,000 users, while ContactOut Email Finder shows 800 ratings on 600,000 users, as of Oct 2026. The user counts are close; the number of people who've rated them isn't.

A big ratings count gives you more reviews to read, and the reviews are where you'll find what people say about results on LinkedIn. Read the newest ones, not just the star average, before you choose.

Which finder for which kind of prospecting

  • Occasional lookups on LinkedIn profiles: pick one whose listing names a free plan or free lookups, and see how far that goes.
  • Prospecting on company websites too: pick a finder that works on any website, not just LinkedIn.
  • Sales Navigator users: pick one whose listing names Sales Navigator.
  • Building a list to work through later: pick one that exports leads or saves profiles to a CRM.
  • Phone numbers as well as email: pick one that names phone lookups on its listing.

Want AI doing the heavy lifting in your marketing?

I build the systems that handle the boring 80 percent, so you get your week back. Done properly, with the human kept in.

Play it straight with the people you find

A found address isn't an invitation. Write only when you've a clear, work related reason, keep it short and personal, and make it easy for people to say no thanks. Anyone who asks you not to contact them again should come off your list straight away.

It also pays to look at the person's profile before you write, not just their address. Mention something specific to their role or their company, say plainly why you're getting in touch, and you'll stand a far better chance of a reply than with a message that could have gone to anyone.

My plain advice on LinkedIn email finders

Pick on how you prospect. If you only look people up now and then, start with a listing that names a free plan or free lookups. If you prospect daily, look for exporting or CRM saving so the leads don't sit in the extension. Whichever you choose, treat every address as a starting point and write like a person, not a sequence.

For the rest of your LinkedIn kit, my list of LinkedIn automation tools covers the tools that sit around these.

Frequently asked questions

What does a LinkedIn email finder Chrome extension do?

It adds a lookup to LinkedIn profiles, and often to company websites, and shows a work email address it has found for that person. Many also save the lead to a list or CRM.

Are LinkedIn email finder extensions free?

Two listings here name a free plan or free lookups. The others don't say on their listing, so check before you rely on one.

Do these extensions work outside LinkedIn?

Most say they do. Several listings name any website or company websites, and one names Sales Navigator and Wellfound.

Which LinkedIn email finder has the most users?

On these listings, the one with the most users shows 700,000, as of Oct 2026. User numbers move daily, so check the listing for the current count.

Can these tools find phone numbers too?

One listing here names phone numbers as well as email addresses. The rest talk about email only.
