A LinkedIn Showcase Page is an extension of your company Page for one brand, business unit or initiative, built to hold a long-term relationship with a specific audience. Only a super admin of the parent Page can create one, and each parent Page can have up to 25.
Here's the trap. A new Showcase Page starts at zero followers. It shares none with the parent Page, you can't move the parent's followers across, and it only shows up in a LinkedIn search for members who already follow it. So a Showcase Page needs its own promotion before it does anything at all. These are LinkedIn's rules as of October 2026.
What a Showcase Page is for, and what it isn't
LinkedIn is specific about the use case. A Showcase Page is for a brand, a business unit or an initiative that has its own audience and deserves its own ongoing conversation. It isn't meant for short-term marketing campaigns or one-time events.
In practice, that means a product line selling to a different buyer from your main business, or a division whose followers care about different things. If the only reason is a launch next month or a conference in the spring, post about it from your main Page instead. A Showcase Page you abandon after six weeks looks worse than no Showcase Page.
Showcase Page rules at a glance
| Rule | What LinkedIn allows |
|---|---|
| Showcase Pages per parent Page | Up to 25 |
| Parent Pages per Showcase Page | One |
| Who can create one | A super admin of the parent Page |
| Followers shared with the parent | No |
| Job postings or Career Pages | No |
| Ad account currency | Fixed once the account is created |
Showcase Page or main Page: what each can do
Both Page types share most of the everyday tools. The differences are all about people and hiring:
| Feature | LinkedIn Page | Showcase Page |
|---|---|---|
| Page analytics | Yes | Yes, calculated separately |
| Activity notifications | Yes | Yes, calculated separately |
| Paid promotion of posts | Yes | Yes |
| Featured groups | Yes | Yes |
| Social media content management | Yes | Yes |
| Appears in search results | Yes | Only for members who follow it |
| Ads business accounts | Yes | Yes |
| Members can follow | Yes | Yes |
| Members can link their profile to it | Yes | No |
| Job postings linked to it | Yes | No |
| Career Pages | Yes | No |
That last block matters. Employees can't list a Showcase Page as where they work, and you can't hire through one. Your people and your jobs stay on the main Page.
The follower and search trap
Put the three rules together and you can see why so many Showcase Pages sit idle. Followers and follower counts aren't shared with the parent. The parent's followers can't be migrated. And the Page only appears in search for people who already follow it, so nobody stumbles across it.
Analytics and notifications are worked out separately too, so a Showcase Page won't borrow the parent's numbers. If you create one, plan how you'll send people to it from day one: posts from your main Page pointing to it, its custom URL in your email signatures and on your site, and your team sharing its posts.
How to create a Showcase Page
- Open the parent Page in super admin view.
- Click Create in the top left, then Create a Showcase Page.
- Enter the parent Page in the Associated organization page field.
- Fill in the required fields and click Create page.
- From admin view, customise the Showcase Page's unique URL.
If you're building several at once and get an error, you've probably hit LinkedIn's daily creation limit, which is there to stop spam. Wait at least 24 hours and try again. Whoever creates the Showcase Page becomes its super admin automatically. If your main Page isn't set up yet, start with how to create a LinkedIn company Page.
Admins, ads and Premium on a Showcase Page
Only super admins can edit a Showcase Page, add or remove admins and post as the Page. If someone on your team needs to post, decide who holds that role before you launch, and for wider admin housekeeping see managing a LinkedIn company Page.
To advertise, create an account in Campaign Manager for the Showcase Page's campaigns, then link the Page by its name or its URL. Choose the currency carefully, because it can't be changed once the account exists.

I build the systems that handle the boring 80 percent, so you get your week back. Done properly, with the human kept in.
Premium Company Page is available for Showcase Pages, but it's a separate subscription from the parent. Paying for Premium on your main Page doesn't cover the Showcase Pages under it.
Changing your mind later
A Showcase Page can be converted into a full LinkedIn Page by contacting LinkedIn, and the request has to come from someone who's a super admin of both Pages. It can only be removed by a super admin or by LinkedIn support. Neither is a two-minute job, so it's worth deciding up front whether this audience needs a Showcase Page or a Page of its own.
My verdict on Showcase Pages
I'd create a Showcase Page if you've got a product or division with a clearly different audience and someone who'll post to it every week for the long haul. Skip it if it's for a campaign, an event, or a team that can barely keep the main Page going. Starting from zero followers, with no search visibility outside its own followers, a quiet Showcase Page earns nothing.
If you're splitting your LinkedIn presence by audience, the content plan matters more than the number of Pages. I run AI training and workshops for teams, and help businesses with AI enablement, AI automation and GEO, which is about getting your business seen and cited in AI answers. Most of that work is with SaaS marketing teams, telecom companies and small businesses. Here's how we can work together.
