AI Age Filters (2026): 10 Tools to See Yourself Older

An AI age filter edits a selfie to show you older or younger, usually in seconds. The tools differ most in how you set the age: some give you a slider across a wide range, others add fixed jumps of years. Ten tools follow in no particular order, from free browser tools to iPhone apps.

Age filters are the quick, fun end of face editing. You upload a selfie, choose an age and see a version of yourself decades from now, or back in your teens. It's a laugh at a family gathering and a sweet way to imagine growing old together, as long as everyone in the photo is happy to take part.

The ten tools below are listed alphabetically and in no particular order, and each description comes from the tool's own website or App Store listing. They're quick filters for a preview. For the wider set of tools that edit pictures with AI, see my guide to AI photo editors.

AI age filters at a glance

Free plan answers come from each tool's own website or App Store listing, as of Oct 2026. Yes means the page names free use or free credits. Trial only means a time-limited trial. Not stated means the page didn't name a free plan. The two iPhone apps here are free to download, so look at what the app offers once it's on your phone.

Ten tools that change your age in a photo

Aragon

Best for: Seeing an older version of yourself from a portrait or selfie, using the free credits that come with an account.

EaseMate

Best for: Changing the age in a photo straight from your browser, with no sign-up needed according to its own page.

FaceLab

Best for: An age changer with hair and beard filters in the same iPhone app, for trying more than one look at once.

Fluxai.art

Best for: Realistic-looking age changes in a browser, from a tool whose page says it's free with no registration.

LogoAI

Best for: Picking any age from 1 to 100 on a single photo, from an age filter on a logo maker's site.

MindPic

Best for: Five free goes a day without signing up, on an image generator site that includes an age filter.

Patternful

Best for: Using credits for each ageing result, from a creative studio with an aging filter for an older look.

Pixgen

Best for: Quick browser use with no login, when you want to age a photo once and get on with your day.

VisualGPT

Best for: Looking younger or older in the same tool with no sign-up, from an AI image site with an age filter.

What Will I Look Like Old Face

Best for: Jumping ahead by a set number of years on your iPhone, rather than choosing one exact age yourself.

Slider or fixed jumps: how you pick the age

These tools differ on how you pick the age. LogoAI lets you choose any age from 1 to 100, while the What Will I Look Like Old Face app adds fixed jumps of 20, 40, 60, 80 or 100 years.

A slider is better when you want one exact age, say for a birthday card joke or to line yourself up with a parent's photo at the same age. Fixed jumps are quicker when you just want to see the big change.

No sign-up isn't a given

'No sign-up' isn't universal. Aragon's page says free credits come with every account, and Patternful's page runs on credits.

Work with me

Want AI doing the heavy lifting in your marketing?

I build the systems that handle the boring 80 percent, so you get your week back. Done properly, with the human kept in.

Most of the web tools here say on their own page that you can use them without registering, and one says it gives you five free generations a day. If you'd rather not hand over an email address, check the free plan column and the tool's own page first.

Fun preview, not a prediction

Several of these pages promise realistic results, and that's the makers describing their own tools. An age filter guesses from one photo. It can't know your genes, your habits or the decades ahead, so enjoy the result and don't read anything into it.

Your older face is still your face

The Information Commissioner's Office quotes the UK GDPR definition: personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

A selfie is personal data, and so is an aged version of it that still looks like you, so treat the upload like any other photo of your face. Ageing someone else's picture, whether it's a parent, a partner or a colleague, needs their say-so first.

If you're curious how other face edits compare, the tools in our list of AI bald filters show a very different kind of change.

Getting a natural-looking result

  1. Use a recent, front-facing selfie with even light and nothing covering your face.
  2. Take off glasses and push your hair back if the tool struggles with them.
  3. Run one photo through a couple of tools, since each one ages a face its own way.
  4. Save only the versions you like, and clear the rest from the tool if it lets you.

Do you make AI age filters or face ageing apps? Tool makers can ask to be considered for a featured place on this list.

My plain advice on choosing an age filter

Decide how you want to pick the age first. If you want one exact number, go for a slider. If you just want to see yourself much older, fixed jumps are fine. Then check the sign-up rules on the tool's own page, and only use faces that belong to you or to people who've said yes.

Frequently asked questions

What is an AI age filter?

It's a tool that edits a selfie to show you older or younger. Some let you choose an exact age, others add set jumps of years.

Can an AI age filter make me look younger?

Yes. Several tools here change age in both directions, so you can see a younger version of yourself as well as an older one.

Is there an AI age filter with no sign-up?

Several web tools here say on their own page that you don't need to register. Others need an account for free credits, so check before you upload.

Are AI age filters accurate?

They're a fun preview. Realistic results are the makers' own description, and a filter only has one photo to work from.

Is it okay to age someone else's photo?

Ask them first. The ICO treats information that can identify a person as personal data, and a photo of their face does that.
