TikTok LIVE Recordings: Where to Find, Download and Clip Replays

TikTok LIVE recordings, which TikTok calls LIVE replays, are saved copies of your past LIVE videos, and you can view and download them for 30 days. To find them, go to your Profile, tap Menu, then TikTok Studio, tap LIVE at the top and choose LIVE recordings.

Most people go looking in their Posts tab and assume the recording has vanished. It hasn't, it's just in TikTok Studio, and it won't wait for you forever. Here's what TikTok's help says, as of October 2026, about finding, saving and reusing your replays.

How to find your TikTok LIVE recordings

  1. Go to your Profile.
  2. Tap Menu.
  3. Tap TikTok Studio.
  4. Tap LIVE at the top.
  5. Tap LIVE recordings.

TikTok says you can also reach your replays from the LIVE Centre. After you end a LIVE, the replay is there for you to download, clip or delete.

How to download a TikTok LIVE replay

Follow the same path to LIVE recordings, find the replay you want and tap Download. That's the step to do first, before anything else, because of the time limit below.

How to clip a LIVE replay into a new post

  1. Go to Profile, Menu, TikTok Studio, LIVE, then LIVE recordings.
  2. Find the replay and tap Clip.
  3. Edit your clip.
  4. Tap Next and follow the steps to post it, or tap Save to post it later.

This is the part I'd use most. A LIVE is long, and the best two minutes are often buried in the middle. Clipping lets you turn those moments into posts for people who missed the stream.

How to delete a LIVE replay

Go to LIVE recordings in TikTok Studio, find the replay and tap the Delete button. Download a copy first if there's any chance you'll want it later.

The 30-day window most people miss

TikTok says replays are available for you to view and download for 30 days. After that, they're gone from your LIVE recordings, so a LIVE you meant to repurpose next month may not be there. If a stream mattered, download it the same day.

TikTok gives three reasons it saves LIVE videos in the first place: to make replays available for you to download or clip, to improve and develop content moderation, and to prevent and respond to potentially harmful content in line with its Community Guidelines. It points to its Privacy Policy for the detail.

Where TikTok Studio fits in

TikTok Studio is TikTok's content creation and management app, built for growing your account and managing your content and insights. Some of its tools are also in the TikTok app and web browser, in a more limited form. A few features are only for people aged 18 and over, or 19 in South Korea. Anything you upload or delete in Studio is uploaded or deleted in TikTok too, so deleting there isn't a draft action. I've covered the rest of it in what TikTok Studio is used for.

Studio's analytics also include LIVE metrics, alongside the account overview, content, viewers and followers. The Monetise tab shows estimated rewards for the past 7 days, your balance and your active programmes.

Your LIVE summary is separate from the replay

When a LIVE ends, TikTok shows you a LIVE summary with the total Diamonds you collected from gifts. That's separate from the recording, so you'll check your gifts in the summary and your replay in LIVE recordings.

Brands promoting a LIVE can look at TikTok's Ad Library.

What I'd do after every LIVE

Make it a two-minute routine. Download the full replay as soon as you end the stream, so the 30-day clock doesn't matter. Then clip one or two of the strongest moments and either post them or save them for later in the week. Finally, look at your LIVE metrics in Studio to see what kept people watching, and plan the next one around that. If you're still getting started, here's my guide to how to go live on TikTok.
