AI Fortune Teller Apps (2026): 10 Tarot and Horoscope Apps

An AI fortune teller draws tarot cards, reads your star sign or chats with you about a question, then writes a reading on the spot. The apps describe it as entertainment and self-reflection, not prediction. Ten apps follow in no particular order, from daily horoscopes to apps that teach you to read the cards yourself.

Tarot and horoscopes have moved from the back pages of magazines onto phones, and AI has turned them into a conversation. Ask a question, pull a card, and the app explains what it might mean for you, then answers your follow-up.

The ten apps below are listed alphabetically and in no particular order, and each description comes from its App Store listing. They're tarot, horoscope and chat readers. Palm scanners are a different kind of app, so they aren't on this list. If you want to learn the cards rather than just draw them, look for an app that explains each one as it comes up.

The free plan column comes from each tool's own App Store listing, as of Oct 2026. Yes means the page names a free plan or free use, Trial only means a time-limited trial, and Not stated means the page named neither. Check the listing before you subscribe to anything.

Ten AI fortune apps for tarot and horoscopes

AI Tarot: Reading Chat

Best for: Asking follow-up questions in a chat after your spread is drawn, rather than reading a fixed card meaning.

Cosmica

Best for: A daily horoscope you can talk back to, with an AI chat for questions about your sign.

Daily Tarot Card Reading Aura

Best for: Choosing between 3-card and 6-card spreads each day, with horoscopes sitting in the same app.

Labyrinthos Tarot

Best for: Learning the meanings of all 78 cards, so you can read a spread yourself instead of relying on an app.

Quin

Best for: People who want tarot framed as emotional support and a moment of reflection, not as a prediction.

Solara

Best for: Trying a newer astrology and tarot app if the better-known ones feel crowded or overfamiliar.

Tarot Simple

Best for: One free AI tarot reading a day, kept in a simple tarot journal you can look back on.

Tarotoo

Best for: Readings pitched for self-reflection and entertainment, if you use tarot as a prompt to think things through.

Tarova

Best for: Mixing cup, hand and card readings in one app when you can't decide which style you like.

Witch

Best for: Learning tarot while you read, with explanations of the cards as each reading comes up.

Entertainment and reflection, in the makers' own words

These apps are open about what they are. AI Tarot: Reading Chat says it's designed for personal reflection and entertainment and isn't a substitute for medical, legal, financial or mental-health advice. Tarotoo describes its readings as being for entertainment and self-reflection, and Tarova says it's for entertainment and self reflection and doesn't replace medical, legal or financial advice.

That's the right way to use them. A card can be a useful prompt to think about a choice you're facing. It can't tell you whether to take a job, see a doctor or sign a contract, and the apps don't claim it can.

Want AI doing the heavy lifting in your marketing?

I build the systems that handle the boring 80 percent, so you get your week back. Done properly, with the human kept in.

If you enjoy trying AI apps just for fun, AI Minecraft skin generators are another good example.

Marketing claims versus tested results

Some listings go further. Witch calls itself scarily accurate, which is a marketing line on its own listing, not a tested result. Read claims like that the way you'd read any advert.

Apps that put you in touch with live human psychics are a different product you pay for, and they aren't covered here.

Using a tarot app for self-reflection

  1. Write your question down before you draw, so you remember what you were thinking about.
  2. Read the card meaning, then ask yourself what it brings to mind, rather than what it predicts.
  3. Keep a short note of each reading and look back after a few weeks.
  4. Stop if a reading leaves you anxious. It's meant to be a moment of calm, not a source of worry.

Do you make AI tarot, horoscope or fortune apps? Tool makers can ask to be considered for a featured place on this list.

Plain advice on picking a fortune app

Decide what you want from it first. If it's a daily ritual, pick a simple daily reading. If you want to learn tarot, pick an app that teaches the cards. If you want to talk a question through, pick one with a chat. And whatever it says, keep health, money and legal decisions for a qualified person.

Frequently asked questions

Are AI fortune tellers accurate?

They don't claim to predict anything. The listings describe the readings as entertainment and self-reflection, and accuracy claims on a listing are marketing, not test results.

Can an AI tarot reading replace advice from a professional?

No. One app here says outright that it isn't a substitute for medical, legal, financial or mental-health advice.

Is there a free AI fortune teller app?

The apps here are free to download, and one offers a trial for extra features, so check the listing before you subscribe.

Can I learn tarot with an AI app?

Yes. Some apps here teach the card meanings, including one that covers all 78 cards, so you can read spreads yourself.

What's the difference between a horoscope app and a tarot app?

A horoscope app writes readings from your star sign, while a tarot app draws cards for a question. Several apps here do both.
