Instagram monetization in Pakistan is only partly available. Pakistan isn't on Meta's country list for Instagram Gifts, and Instagram's Partner Monetization Policies say you must live in a country where a tool is available, so for Pakistani creators the open route on Instagram is brand partnerships. The Meta tool Pakistan is listed for is Facebook Stars, which makes Facebook your best route to money from Meta itself.
I know that's not the answer you were hoping for, and I'd rather you heard it straight than spent months waiting for a Monetization button that isn't coming yet. Below is the status of every Instagram tool for a Pakistani account, how to check your own dashboard, and what to do this week while the list stays the same.
Every rule and figure on this page comes from Meta's own Help Center pages, read as of October 2026.
Every Instagram earning tool, checked for Pakistan
| Tool | Pakistan status | Where Meta says so |
|---|---|---|
| Gifts on reels | Not on the country list | Instagram Gifts eligibility page |
| Badges on live | No country list published; 10,000 followers needed | Instagram badges page |
| Subscriptions | "May not be available to you yet" | Instagram Subscriptions page |
| Bonuses | Invite-only test | Enable bonuses on Instagram |
| Brand partnerships | Open, with the paid partnership label | Branded content page |
| Facebook Content Monetization | Not on the country list | Facebook availability page |
| Facebook Stars | Pakistan is on the list | About Facebook Stars |
The Gifts list is the one most people ask about. It includes India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Turkey, Georgia and several African countries such as Ghana, Tanzania and Uganda. Pakistan isn't there. Because Meta's policies make your country of residence a condition, a Pakistani account can meet every other Gifts rule and still not be paid.
How to check what's open on your own account
Lists change without announcements, so check your dashboard every month or so. Here's where each tool lives in the app:
- Gifts: go to your profile, tap Professional Dashboard, and look under Your Tools.
- Subscriptions: in the professional dashboard, scroll down and tap Monetization.
- Bonuses: in the professional dashboard, tap the Settings icon in the top right, then Bonuses.
- Branded content: tap Menu on your profile, then Creator tools and controls, then Branded content.
- Creator Marketplace: inside Branded content, look for View available projects.
If a tool isn't there, it isn't open to you yet. Meta's Gifts page offers no way to apply from a country that isn't on its list.
The rules every Pakistani creator has to meet anyway
Even when a tool opens, Instagram's Partner Monetization Policies decide who keeps it. You need an authentic, established presence with a sufficient follower base. You can only earn from a natural audience, and Instagram says creators can lose the ability to monetize if their audience is largely fake likes, follows or views. Coordinated sharing for payment counts as artificial boosting too.
I'd build to those rules now. If Pakistan joins the Gifts list, the accounts that are ready will be switched on first, and the ones full of bought followers won't be.
The Facebook route Pakistan can use today
Meta lists Pakistan for Facebook Stars. Fans buy Stars from Meta and send them on your gaming, live, on-demand, reel, photo or text content. To earn from them you need:
- 500 followers for at least 30 consecutive days.
- To be 18 or older and live in a country eligible for Stars.
- To meet Facebook's Partner Monetization Policies and Content Monetization Policies, and agree to the Stars terms.
To check, open your Professional dashboard on Facebook and click Stars below Tools to try. For a Page, use Meta Business Suite on the web: click Monetization, then View Page eligibility under Status. Facebook Content Monetization is a different programme, and Pakistan isn't on its country list.
If Pakistan joins the Gifts list, here's how it would pay
It's worth understanding Gifts now, so you're ready the day it appears. Viewers buy Stars and send them as Gifts on your reels, and both followers and non-followers can send them. Instagram pays creators one US cent for every Star received, once a month. Instagram takes its share when the viewer buys the Stars, and that share varies with the size of the Stars pack, while Apple or Google also take their in-app purchase fee from the pack price.
Two details matter for planning. Collaborative posts can't receive Gifts, so your own reels are the ones that count. And you track earnings in the professional dashboard under Your Tools, then Gifts, where See all shows your monthly and total figures. Without a payout account, earnings are held up to a limit and forfeited after 6 months, so set one up as soon as any Meta tool opens for you.

Brand partnerships: the income that isn't country-gated
Instagram's branded content page publishes no country list, which makes brand deals the Instagram income a Pakistani account can build on today. Set up branded content tools from your profile, and use the paid partnership label on every paid post, including posts about products a brand gave you for free. If you're not eligible yet, you can request a review from the same screen.
Local brands care about one thing: whether your audience is the audience they want. Keep your insights screenshots ready, and pitch the businesses your followers already buy from.

My verdict
Instagram monetization in Pakistan is limited right now, but you're not locked out of earning. Build on brand partnerships, add Facebook Stars, keep your audience clean, and check your dashboard regularly. For a sense of scale, my page on 100k followers income in Pakistan shows what bigger accounts earn from brands, and Instagram's Partner Monetization Policies explained covers the rules in more depth.
