monday.com Pricing: Free, Basic, Standard, Pro and Enterprise

As of October 2026, monday.com's Free plan costs $0 for up to 2 seats. Basic is $9 per seat a month, Standard is $12 and Pro is $19, all billed annually, and Enterprise is priced on request. monday's page shows these prices for a 10-seat team.

monday.com is a work management platform many small businesses use for projects, clients and sales. Its pricing page works differently from most: you pick a team size first, and the page builds a total that includes AI credits. Here's how to read it.

How monday builds the price

monday's breakdown for each plan shows three lines. For Basic on a 10-seat team, it lists $9 times 10 seats as $90, adds 1,000 AI credits valued at $10, then takes off a special monthly discount of $10, for a total of $90 a month billed annually. Standard and Pro follow the same pattern with 2,000 and 3,000 credits.

In practice, the AI credits are bundled in at no extra charge under the current offer. monday also says you can add more credits at any time if you need them.

One more thing to know before checkout: monday's page says taxes are determined by your billing country, and the final price is shown on the purchase page before you pay.

What each plan includes

  • Free: up to 3 boards, up to 3 Docs, 200+ templates, 8 column types and the iOS and Android apps.
  • Basic: everything in Free plus unlimited free viewers, unlimited items and 3 AI tools including the Sidekick assistant and Vibe app builder.
  • Standard: Timeline and Gantt views, Calendar view, guest access, 3 workflows, 250 automation actions and 250 integration actions a month, and 1,000 API calls a day.
  • Pro: private boards and docs, time tracking, advanced board views and columns, 20 workflows, 25,000 automation and integration actions a month and 10,000 API calls a day.
  • Enterprise: 250 workflows, enterprise-grade security and governance, up to 250,000 automation and integration actions, 25,000 API calls a day and 24/7 enterprise support.

The limits that push teams to upgrade

Basic has no timeline, calendar or automations, which is why monday labels Pro its most popular plan. Standard is the first plan with automations and integrations, but its 250 actions a month go quickly if you automate status changes across several boards. Pro raises that to 25,000 actions and adds private boards, which agencies need when client work shouldn't be visible to everyone.

Seats, viewers and guests

Seats are the people who can edit work. From Basic upward, monday includes unlimited free viewers, who get read-only access to your account data with no editing rights. From Standard, you can also add guests, who only see the boards you invite them to, which keeps the rest of your account private.

monday's pricing page asks you to choose a team size and prices the plan for that number of seats, so pick the size that fits your editors today and revisit it as you grow.

monday's page also has a Try for free button on each paid plan, so you can test the features of the plan you're considering before you commit to an annual bill. Use that time to check whether your team really needs Pro's automations or whether Standard covers the work.

That split matters for client work. A client who just needs to check progress can be a viewer or a guest rather than a paid seat, so you're not paying for people who never change anything. Before you choose a team size, separate the editors from the watchers, and only count the editors.

monday CRM is priced separately

If you're buying monday for sales, look at monday CRM. It has its own pricing on the same page. For a 3-seat team, monday CRM Basic is shown at $12 per seat a month billed yearly, with a higher regular price of $18 beside it. The top CRM tier, now called Ultimate, is priced on request.

How to pick a monday plan

  1. Choose your team size on the pricing page first, as the totals change with it.
  2. Two people or fewer: try Free.
  3. You need unlimited items and a few boards: Basic.
  4. You want timelines, a calendar and some automation: Standard.
  5. You automate heavily or keep client boards private: Pro.
  6. Sales pipeline work: compare monday CRM instead.

My verdict

For a small team that wants a visual way to manage projects, Standard at $12 per seat a month billed annually is the plan most people need, because Basic lacks timelines and automations. Pro at $19 is worth it once you automate a lot or need private boards for clients. Set your exact team size on monday's page before you compare, because the per-seat price is only part of what you'll see at checkout.
