To withdraw from JazzCash, visit a JazzCash agent with your phone, give them your mobile number and confirm with your MPIN, then collect the cash. You can also withdraw at an ATM with a JazzCash ATM card, or send to your bank account and withdraw there. Agent withdrawals carry JazzCash's standard charges.
Whether it's a payout from a client, a freelance platform or an earning app, at some point you'll want your JazzCash balance as cash or in your bank. There are three routes, and one of them is free for some freelancers. Here's what JazzCash's own pages say about each.
Your three withdrawal options
| Route | What you need | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| JazzCash agent | Your phone and MPIN | Standard agent charges apply |
| ATM | A JazzCash ATM card | Free for some freelance payments, see below |
| Bank transfer | Your IBAN or Raast ID | Raast transfers are free, per SBP |
Withdraw at a JazzCash agent
- Find a JazzCash agent or retailer near you.
- Tell them you want to withdraw cash and give your mobile number.
- Confirm the withdrawal with your MPIN on your own phone.
- Collect your cash and check the confirmation message.
Two details from JazzCash's pages: standard charges apply to retailer withdrawals, and an agent can't do two cash deposits or withdrawals in a row with the same customer within 10 minutes. If you need two withdrawals, space them out or use another route.
Withdraw at an ATM
Order a JazzCash ATM card from the app and you can withdraw at ATMs. It's the route to use if you cash out often, because you're not dependent on an agent having cash on hand.
The free withdrawals freelancers miss
This is the one worth knowing. If you receive freelance payments into JazzCash, for example from Payoneer, JazzCash says you get up to 2 free ATM cash withdrawals in the calendar month you received the payment. From the 3rd withdrawal, standard charges apply. The free withdrawals are ATM only: agent withdrawals aren't included, and standard agent charges still apply there.
So the smart move is to collect your freelance payout and make your two ATM withdrawals in that same month. Leave it until next month and the free ones are gone.
Send to your bank instead
If you'd rather keep your earnings in a bank, transfer from JazzCash to your bank account using the account's IBAN or a Raast ID. The State Bank of Pakistan lists Mobilink Microfinance Bank (JazzCash) as a Raast partner, and SBP says there are no charges on Raast services and transfers land instantly. Then withdraw at your own bank's ATM.
Why a payment might be held
JazzCash says some transactions go through anti-laundering (AML) screening, which can take up to 2 days. If an incoming international payment hasn't shown up in real time, that's the likeliest reason. Wait for the screening before you raise a complaint.
Before you withdraw, check these
- Your account limits. If you're near your daily or monthly limit, upgrade in the app so a withdrawal isn't refused.
- New account? JazzCash blocks transactions for the first 2 hours after an account is created.
- Your MPIN. Never tell it to the agent; you type it yourself.

Watch out for withdrawal scams
Earning apps that say your balance is ready but you must deposit into JazzCash first to withdraw it are scams. A real payout never needs you to send anything in. The same goes for anyone asking for your MPIN or OTP to release a payment.
A tip for anyone paid by several clients: keep a simple monthly note of what came in and how you withdrew it. It makes the free ATM rule easy to use, and if your tax adviser or a bank ever asks about your income, your JazzCash statement plus that note tells the whole story.
Which route is cheapest?
JazzCash publishes its standard charges in its Schedule of Charges, and they change from time to time, so check the current one in the app or on the website before a big withdrawal. As a rule of thumb from JazzCash's own pages: Raast transfers to a bank carry no charges, the first 2 ATM withdrawals in a freelance payment month are free, and agent withdrawals always carry the standard agent charge.

| If you want... | Use this |
|---|---|
| Cash today, no card | A JazzCash agent |
| Freelance earnings as cash | The ATM card, in the month the payment arrives |
| Your earnings in a bank | Raast or a bank transfer from the app |
| Several withdrawals in one visit | The ATM, because agents must wait 10 minutes between transactions with you |
My advice
For freelance payouts, use the ATM card and make your withdrawals in the month the payment arrives. For everything else, Raast to your bank is free and instant. Use agents for small, urgent cash, and always type your own MPIN.
