On X (formerly Twitter), go to your profile, tap your Analytics or More menu isn't needed. Instead, open your profile, tap the three dots or go to Settings, then Your Posts and engagements, or simply visit your Likes tab from your profile page. On mobile, tap your profile icon, then Likes. On desktop, click Profile, then the Likes tab near your posts.
Why finding your likes on X matters
I get asked this a lot. You liked a post weeks ago, you want to find it again, and X doesn't always make that simple. Whether you're researching, checking old interactions, or just being nosy about what you've engaged with, knowing where your likes live saves time.
This guide walks through finding your likes on X (formerly Twitter), step by step, for both mobile and desktop. I'll also cover what to do if you can't see them, and what's changed recently.
Finding your likes on the X mobile app
The process on your phone is fairly quick once you know where to look. X has shifted things around a few times, so don't worry if it's not exactly where you remember.
- Open the X app and tap your profile picture in the top left.
- Tap your profile to go to your own page.
- Look for the tabs near the top, usually Posts, Replies, Highlights, and Media.
- Tap the three-dot menu or swipe to find the Likes tab, which may be hidden under additional tabs.
- Your liked posts will appear in reverse chronological order, newest first.
If you don't see a Likes tab straight away, tap the icon that looks like three dots next to your bio section. That often reveals extra tabs, including Likes.
Finding your likes on X via desktop
On a browser, the layout is a little different but the principle is the same. You're looking for a tab on your own profile page.
Go to x.com and log in. Click on your profile icon or name in the left-hand menu, which takes you to your profile page. Across the top, you'll see Posts, Replies, and other tabs. Click on Likes if it's visible, or check under the more options icon if it's tucked away.
Desktop tends to show more tabs by default compared to mobile, so you might find Likes sitting right there without needing to dig.
What to do if you can't find your Likes tab
Sometimes the Likes tab doesn't show at all. This has happened to a fair few people I've spoken to, and there are a couple of reasons.
First, X has tested removing or hiding the Likes tab for some accounts in the past. Features get rolled out in stages, so not everyone sees the same layout at the same time. If your app or browser version is out of date, that can also affect what you see.
Try updating the app, refreshing your browser, or logging out and back in. If none of that works, it may simply be that X hasn't made the Likes tab visible for your account at this time. I won't pretend there's a guaranteed fix, because sometimes there isn't one.
Searching for a specific liked post
If you're trying to find one particular post you liked rather than scrolling through everything, there's a more targeted approach.

Use the search bar at the top of X and try searching for keywords you remember from the post. Combine this with the search filters, such as searching from a specific account or within a date range. This won't search exclusively within your likes, but it can help you relocate a post faster than scrolling.
Alternatively, scroll through your Likes tab manually if you remember roughly when you liked it. Posts are listed by the date you liked them, not necessarily the date they were posted, so keep that in mind.
Can you make your likes private on X
A question I get almost as often as
Frequently asked questions
Where is the Likes tab on X?
It's on your own profile page, usually alongside Posts and Replies. On mobile you may need to tap a three-dot menu to reveal it. On desktop it often shows automatically near the top of your profile.
Why can't I see my Likes tab on X?
X sometimes hides or tests removing this tab for certain accounts. Updating your app, refreshing your browser, or logging out and back in can help, but there's no guaranteed fix if X hasn't enabled it for you.
Can other people see what I've liked on X?
By default, your likes are visible to anyone who can see your profile. X doesn't currently offer a setting to make only your likes private while keeping the rest of your profile public.
Can I search within my own likes on X?
There's no dedicated search bar just for your likes. You can use the main search bar with keywords or filters, then cross-check against your Likes tab, but it won't search exclusively inside your liked posts.
