Gemini Training for Business Teams on Google Workspace

Gemini training for business teaches your staff to use Gemini inside the Google Workspace apps they already work in, like Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Meet, on their own real tasks. I'm Lilach Bullock, an AI trainer and implementation consultant with 23 years in marketing, and I run hands-on Gemini sessions for teams, online or in person, so people use it every day instead of once.

Google has a lot of free material on Gemini, and it's worth a look. What it can't do is sit with your team, open your actual inbox and documents, and show each person where Gemini saves them time this week. That's the gap a person-led session fills.

Gemini in the apps your team already uses

AppWhat we practise in the session
GmailDrafting and tidying replies, summarising long threads, and knowing when not to let AI write for you.
DocsFirst drafts from notes, rewriting for a different reader, and checking AI text before it's shared.
SheetsGetting help with formulas and making sense of data without hours of trial and error.
MeetGetting more from meetings and turning what was said into follow-up actions.

Which Gemini features your team sees depends on your Workspace plan and what your admin has switched on. I check that before the session so nobody's shown something they can't use. If you want a reader-friendly overview first, my guide to Google Workspace AI covers the basics, and my piece on Gemini Personal Intelligence explains one of the newer features.

What a session covers

  • The tasks your team does most, worked through live in Gemini.
  • Prompts people can reuse straight away, saved somewhere they'll find them.
  • What data is fine to use with Gemini under your company's rules, and what isn't.
  • How to check Gemini's output before it reaches a customer or a colleague.
  • Where Gemini fits alongside other tools your team already uses, like ChatGPT or Claude.

I keep the session practical. Each person picks a real task from their own week, we do it together in Gemini, and then they do the next one on their own while I'm still there to help. That second attempt is where the learning sticks, because it's the moment people stop copying and start using it their way.

Who it's for

  • Companies on Google Workspace that have Gemini switched on but low use.
  • SaaS marketing teams who live in Docs, Sheets and Gmail all day.
  • Small businesses that run on Google Workspace and want the whole team using AI well.
  • Ops and admin leads who want Gemini to take some of the routine work.

How it runs

  1. A short call about your Workspace setup, your teams and where time goes.
  2. I check which Gemini features your plan and settings give your team.
  3. Hands-on training, online or in person, on your real tasks.
  4. A short summary of prompts and rules, and a next step if you want one.

I don't publish prices. Scope depends on team size and how many sessions you want.

Teams I've worked with

This year my AI training and enablement work has included SaaS marketing teams, a product marketing team that wanted a practical Claude workshop, a telecom company and small businesses wanting to automate manual work. Different tools, same lesson: people use AI when it's shown to them on their own work, and they drop it when it isn't.

I've spent 23 years in marketing, spoken at over 100 events including TEDxBolton, and worked with brands including IBM, Twitter, Dropbox, monday.com and Greenpeace. For broader team readiness beyond Gemini, see AI enablement.

What to look for when hiring a Gemini trainer

  • They check your Workspace plan and settings before planning anything.
  • They train in Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Meet, not in a separate demo account.
  • They cover what data is fine to use, not just what Gemini can do.
  • They're honest about where another tool does a job better.
  • They leave your team with prompts saved and a next step.

Gemini is most useful when it disappears into everyday work. I run AI training and workshops for teams, and help businesses with AI enablement and workflow automation, so the busywork runs itself and people get time back. Most of that work is with SaaS marketing teams and small businesses. Here's how we can work together.

Frequently asked questions

Who offers Gemini training for business teams?

I do. I run hands-on Gemini training for teams on Google Workspace, using Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Meet on their own work, online or in person.

How do I get my team using Gemini in Google Workspace?

Check which features your plan and admin settings allow, then train people on their own tasks inside the apps they already use. Follow up so the habit sticks.

Is Google's free Gemini training enough for a business?

It's a good start for individuals. A person-led session adds what free material can't: your team's real tasks, your rules on data and someone to answer questions as they come up.

Does every Google Workspace plan include Gemini?

Gemini features depend on your Workspace plan and what your admin has switched on. I check that before any session so the training matches what your team can use.

Can Gemini training cover Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Meet?

Yes. I work through the apps your team uses most, on their real tasks, so they leave knowing where Gemini helps in each one.

Should my team learn Gemini or ChatGPT?

If you're on Google Workspace, Gemini sits inside the apps you already use, which makes it easy to start. Many teams use both. I'll help you decide which tool fits which task.
