Does YouTube TV Have SEC Network? Yes, and ACC and Big Ten Too

Yes. As of October 2026, YouTube TV carries SEC Network (listed as SEC ESPN Network) in its main plan and in the Sports + News plan, but not in the News + Entertainment plan. ACC Network and Big Ten sit in the same two plans, so either one covers all the major conference networks.

That's useful if you follow more than one conference, or if your team's games move between networks through the season. The question isn't really whether YouTube TV has SEC Network, it's which plan you need to be on to get it.

Which YouTube TV plans carry the conference networks

YouTube's channel lineup on its welcome page splits channels by plan. Here's where the college conference networks land:

NetworkMain YouTube TV planSports + NewsNews + Entertainment
SEC ESPN NetworkYesYesNo
ACCN (ACC Network)YesYesNo
BIG 10YesYesNo
BTNListedNot listedNo

One small oddity: YouTube's main plan list shows both BIG 10 and a separate BTN entry, while the Sports + News list only shows BIG 10. If Big Ten Network is the channel you care about most, check the lineup for your ZIP code on YouTube's welcome page before you choose.

YouTube's lineup also says it's a sample, and what you get can depend on where you live. You enter your home ZIP code to see your area's full list.

Sports + News or the main plan for college football?

If conference networks are the reason you're signing up, the Sports + News plan is the one to look at first. As of October 2026, YouTube lists it at $71.99 a month with 50+ channels. New YouTube TV users pay $49.99 a month for the first 5 months, which YouTube says saves $110, and that offer ends November 16, 2026.

The main YouTube TV plan has 100+ channels at $82.99 a month. New users pay $59.99 a month for the first 2 months, a saving of $46 by YouTube's numbers, with the same November 16, 2026 end date.

So what do you give up with Sports + News? Mostly entertainment and family channels. YouTube describes it as the plan for all the games and headlines without paying for Family or Entertainment channels, and it still includes your local channels. For college sports fans, its lineup also lists ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPN U, ESPNEWS, FS1, FS2, CBS Sports and Golf Channel, plus ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC. If ESPN is your main worry, here's more on ESPN on YouTube TV.

What about the Sports Plan?

YouTube also lists a Sports Plan at $64.99 a month with 30+ channels, as of October 2026. Its help centre describes the Sports Plan as including all the sports channels from the main plan, plus your local channels. If you want the cheapest route to conference networks, compare it with Sports + News against your ZIP code lineup before you sign up. There's a full breakdown of the YouTube TV Sports Plan if you want the detail.

Can you add SEC Network on its own?

No. YouTube's help centre says that while there are many plans to pick from, you can't build your own plan by choosing individual channels, and SEC Network isn't in the list of add-on networks on YouTube's lineup, which is mostly premium services such as STARZ and MGM+. It comes as part of a plan. YouTube lists 13 plan combinations for new subscribers, from the main YouTube TV plan to mixes such as Sports + Family and News + Entertainment + Family.

How to switch to a plan with SEC Network

If you're already on a plan without it, such as News + Entertainment, you can switch, and YouTube says the new plan starts right away:

Want AI doing the heavy lifting in your marketing?

I build the systems that handle the boring 80 percent, so you get your week back. Done properly, with the human kept in.

  1. Open Settings in YouTube TV and select Membership.
  2. Look at your current plan and the other plans available, and select the one you want.
  3. Follow the on-screen steps to confirm. Any add-ons you have carry over to the new plan.

Plan switching isn't available in the iOS or Android apps, so don't try it from your phone. If you pay for YouTube TV through a mobile carrier or internet provider, you'll need to contact their support instead, and the plans they offer may differ.

What switching does to your bill and recordings

  • Your bill: you're charged for the new plan straight away, minus a credit for the unused time on your old plan, and the switch date becomes your new monthly billing date. Add-ons keep their own billing date.
  • Your promotion: if you're on an introductory price and switch plans, YouTube says you lose the promotion. Worth checking before you switch during a new-user offer.
  • Your recordings: if you move to a plan without a channel, recordings from that channel leave your DVR library. Switch back to a plan with that genre within 21 days and you get them back.

What you get on any plan

Whichever plan you pick for SEC Network, YouTube says the features are the same: unlimited cloud DVR (recordings are kept for 9 months), multiview for up to four streams at once, 6 household accounts and 3 streams at a time. If game days in your house mean several screens, the 4K Plus add-on at $9.99 a month, as of October 2026, unlocks unlimited streams at home. You can see everything else each plan includes in the YouTube TV channel list.

One travel note: YouTube TV works anywhere you have internet in the US, but you can't watch while travelling internationally, and you need to sign in from home at least once every 3 months to keep your account active.

My verdict

If you want SEC Network, and especially if you want ACC and Big Ten as well, start with Sports + News. It carries all three conference networks for less than the main plan, and the new-user offer brings it down further until mid-November. Only pay for the main plan if your household also wants the entertainment and family channels. And avoid News + Entertainment entirely if college sports are the point, because none of the conference networks are in it.
