A one page website builder creates a site where everything sits on a single scrolling page, with menu links that jump down to each section. It suits freelancers, events, launches and small businesses with one clear offer. Choose by whether you need forms, selling or a blog later. Nine options follow, in no particular order.
Not every business needs a ten-page website. If you sell one service, run one event or want people to do one thing, a single page that explains it well can work better than a menu full of pages nobody opens.
The nine builders below range from simple personal pages to startup sites with analytics. They're listed alphabetically and in no particular order, and every description comes from the vendor's own website, read this week. If your page's job is to convert, my guide on how long a landing page should be helps you decide what to cut.
One page website builders at a glance
I checked the free plan column on each tool's own website, as of Oct 2026. Yes means the site says the tool, or a plan or version of it, is free. Trial only means a time-limited trial. Not stated means the pages I read named neither, even where there's a button inviting you to start, so check the vendor's page before you sign up.

Google treats your one page as one page
Google Search Central's guidance on URL structure says not to use URL fragments to change the content of a page, because Google Search generally doesn't support URL fragments.
Want AI doing the heavy lifting in your marketing?
I build the systems that handle the boring 80 percent, so you get your week back. Done properly, with the human kept in.
On a one-page site, your menu links usually jump to sections with a # in the address. Google sees all of that as one page. That's fine for a simple offer, but if you want separate services, locations or products to be found in search, each one needs its own page with its own URL.
When a one-page site is enough
A single page works when there's one offer, one audience and one action. A coach with one programme, a wedding, a product launch or a freelancer's portfolio all fit.
It stops working when you need to rank for several different searches or explain several different services. That's when you add pages, so pick a builder that lets you grow without starting again.
Six sections most one-page sites need
- A headline that says what you do and who it's for.
- Proof, such as a short testimonial or a result.
- What's included, in plain bullet points.
- Who you are, with a real photo.
- Answers to the questions people ask first.
- One clear action, repeated at the bottom.
Signs your one page is trying to do too much
- It has five different buttons. Pick one action.
- It takes a minute to scroll. Cut sections.
- It lists every service you offer. Give the big ones pages.
- Nobody knows who you are. Add your photo.
Do you make a one page website builder? Tool makers can ask to be considered for a featured place on this list.
My plain advice on one-page sites
Write the page before you pick the builder. Put your headline, three reasons to trust you and one call to action in a document, then build around it. Most one-page sites fail because the design came first and the words were squeezed in afterwards, so the page looks lovely and says very little.
If you'll need more than one page later, compare these with my landing page builders list before you commit.
Frequently asked questions
What is a one page website builder?
It's a tool for making a website where all the content sits on one scrolling page, with menu links that jump to each section.
Are one-page websites bad for SEO?
They can rank for one main topic. Google treats the whole page as one URL, so separate services need separate pages.
Can I build a one-page site for free?
Several builders name a free plan or free software. Check the free plan column above and the vendor's own page.
What should a one-page website include?
A clear headline, proof, what's included, who you are, answers to common questions and one call to action.
Is a one-page site the same as a landing page?
They're close. A landing page is usually built for one campaign, while a one-page site is your whole website on a single page.
When should I add more pages?
When you want to be found for several different services, places or products in search.
