Spotify Premium Price in the Philippines: Every Plan in Pesos

As of October 2026, Spotify Premium in the Philippines costs ₱169 a month for Individual, ₱229 for Duo, ₱279 for Family and ₱85 for Student. Right now every plan has the same opening offer for people new to Premium: your first 2 months for the price of one month, then the normal monthly price.

The Philippines keeps Spotify's classic four-plan line-up, unlike some nearby markets, and the prices are in pesos on Spotify's own Philippines page. Here's what each plan costs, what it includes and which one makes sense for you.

PlanMonthly priceFirst 2 months (new users)Accounts
Individual₱169₱169 for 2 months1 Premium account
Duo₱229₱229 for 2 months2 Premium accounts
Family₱279₱279 for 2 monthsUp to 6 Premium accounts
Student₱85₱85 for 2 months1 verified Premium account

Spotify says each offer is only for people who haven't tried Premium before, and terms apply. After the first 2 months, you pay the same figure every month until you cancel.

Individual: ₱169 a month

Individual is one Premium account for one person. Spotify lists ad-free music, very high audio quality up to about 320 kbps, offline listening with downloads or Offline Backup, and full control over what plays next: repeat songs, play albums in any order and skip as many times as you like. You can cancel anytime.

Duo: ₱229 for two people at one address

Duo gives you 2 Premium accounts, and Spotify describes it as being for couples who live at the same address. Each person gets their own account, so your playlists and recommendations stay separate. Compared with two people each paying ₱169 for Individual, Duo is the cheaper way for a couple to go Premium.

Family: ₱279 for up to 6 people

Family covers up to 6 Premium accounts for family members living at the same address, and the plan manager gets parental controls. If more than two of you in the same household want Premium, Family is the plan to look at first, because it costs less than paying for even two Individual plans.

Student: ₱85 a month

Student is one verified Premium account at a discount. The offer is ₱85 for 2 months, then ₱85 a month. Spotify says it's reserved for students enrolled at an eligible accredited institution of higher education, and isn't available to anyone who has already tried Premium. Spotify's Student discount terms apply; my guide to Spotify Premium Student explains how verification works.

What Premium adds in the Philippines

Spotify's Philippines page marks these as Premium features:

  • Jam, to play any song with friends in real time.
  • Invitations to Listening Parties with your favourite artists.
  • Access to exclusives on the K-Pop ON! (온) Hub.
  • A DJ that spins tracks just for you.
  • Fitness: 1.4k extra classes, powered by Peloton.

The page also lists podcasts, Spotify on Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and car systems, smartwatches and wearables, and smart speakers, TVs and game consoles, with switching between devices as you go. The K-Pop ON! Hub and Listening Parties aren't on Spotify's India page, for example, so the perks you get do differ by country, not only the price.

Is the 2-for-1 offer worth it?

If you're new to Premium, there's no reason to skip it: you pay one month's price and get two. Set a reminder for the end of month two if you're only testing it, because after that it renews at the normal price. If you'd rather start at no cost at all, my guide to getting Spotify Premium for free covers the official routes and their rules.

Family plan rules and cancelling

Spotify's Philippines support pages fill in the detail the price page leaves out:

  • The Family plan manager is the only person who signs up and pays, and can add or remove members.
  • Every member has a separate account and logs in with their own details.
  • Members must live with the plan manager and enter the same home address when they join.
  • Members can only switch plans once every 12 months.
  • If you cancel a paid plan, Premium stays until your next billing date, then the account switches to free. You keep your playlists and saved music.
  • If you cancel during a zero-priced free trial, you drop to the free service straight away, and that trial can't be reactivated.

If Premium came through your mobile or internet provider, Spotify says you'll need to cancel with them instead. And if your household shrinks, removing Family members won't move you to a cheaper plan: Spotify says you need to switch to a new plan to downgrade, so change your plan, not just the member list, if you want to pay less.

Which plan should you choose?

  • On your own: Individual at ₱169.
  • You and a partner at the same address: Duo at ₱229.
  • Three or more at home: Family at ₱279, with parental controls for younger listeners.
  • At college or university: Student at ₱85, if your institution is eligible.

If you're weighing Spotify against other music apps, my comparison of Amazon Music vs Spotify covers the main differences.

My verdict

Spotify Premium is good value in the Philippines, and Family at ₱279 is the standout if you live with others, since it costs less than two Individual plans. Whatever you pick, take the first 2 months at the one-month price if you're new, and check Spotify's Philippines page on the day you sign up, because offers change.
