As of October 2026, MYOB's Australian pricing page lists Solo at $99 a year, MYOB Business Lite at $315 a year, Pro at $70 a month and AccountRight Plus at $165 a month after their introductory offers, plus a standalone Payroll Only plan at $15 a month. Payroll on Lite and Pro is an extra $3 a month per employee, and MYOB says Payroll Only prices change from 1 November 2026.
Every plan was showing a discount for new customers when the page was checked, so the headline number you see on the page isn't what you'll pay from the second year or month on. Here's what each plan costs once the offer ends, what the offer is, and which one fits which business.

Payroll and inventory add-ons
- Lite: payroll for up to 2 employees at an extra $3 a month per employee.
- Pro: payroll for unlimited employees at an extra $3 a month per employee.
- AccountRight Plus: unlimited payroll at no extra cost.
- Unlimited inventory: an add-on at $22 a month on Lite and Pro, included in AccountRight Plus.
- AI BAS: in beta, and listed as an additional purchase on some plans.
The payroll line is where Lite and Pro costs climb. A business paying several staff on Pro pays the plan price plus $3 for each person on the payroll every month.
What changes from 1 November 2026
MYOB's page carries a notice that it will change the prices of MYOB Business Payroll Only, and of the per-user Payroll premium feature, from 1 November 2026. The new figures weren't on the pricing page when it was checked, so if payroll is part of your plan, look at the details link on MYOB's page before you commit to a yearly plan.
Feature differences that matter
| Feature | Solo | Lite | Pro | AccountRight Plus |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Connected bank accounts | Up to 2 | Up to 2 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Where you use it | Mobile app only | Browser and MYOB Assist app | Browser and MYOB Assist app | Desktop, browser and MYOB Assist app |
| Product attributes | Up to 10 | Up to 10 | Unlimited | |
| Multi-location inventory | 1 location | 1 location | 1 location, or unlimited with Premier |
Multiple currencies and adding another business are Premier only. Payroll includes Single Touch Payroll reporting and automated superannuation contributions. Lite tracks GST and lodges BAS, while Solo offers automated tax and GST tracking from the phone, so check which one your accountant expects you to use.
What Solo and Payroll Only include
Solo by MYOB is the mobile app for sole operators. The pricing page lists in-built AI features, automated tax and GST tracking, unlimited quotes and invoices, in-person payments with Tap to Pay and an in-app business bank account. It runs on the mobile app only, so if you need to work on a laptop, Lite is the step up.
Payroll Only is for businesses that keep their books somewhere else but want MYOB for pay runs. It covers up to 4 employees with simple pay runs, direct reporting to the ATO, automated tax compliance and superannuation contributions, online employee onboarding and automated annual leave calculations. That's the plan most affected by the 1 November change, so it's the one to recheck first.
Contracts and cancelling
MYOB's FAQ says there's no minimum subscription period and no lock-in contract: you pay monthly, or yearly on selected plans, and can cancel any time. On Lite, Pro, AccountRight Plus and Premier you can share your account with your adviser, accountant, bookkeeper or business partner at no extra cost.
Which MYOB plan to choose
- Working alone from your phone, no staff: Solo.
- Sole trader or tiny business that lodges BAS and may pay 1 or 2 people: Lite.
- More than 2 employees, more bank accounts or sales orders: Pro.
- Larger payroll, heavy inventory or time billing: AccountRight Plus, or Premier for multiple currencies or businesses.
- Payroll only, with your books elsewhere: Payroll Only, after checking the 1 November price change.

The verdict
Budget on the after-offer price, not the discount. For most small Australian businesses with a few staff, the real choice is Lite at $315 a year versus Pro at $70 a month, and the payroll add-on usually decides it. Check the 1 November payroll change before you sign up for a year.
