Fubo announced the new prices in its help center when NBCUniversal channels arrived on the service. The increase is the same $15 on every Fubo TV plan, and a separate fee can apply if you live in an area with an NBC regional sports channel. The regional sports fee
This is the line that catches people out. If your plan includes a Regional Sports Fee and you live in an area that gets an NBC regional sports channel (Fubo names NBC Sports Boston, NBC Sports Philadelphia, NBC Sports Bay Area and NBC Sports California), you'll be charged a Regional Sports Fee of $15.99 a month once those channels become available.
So a Pro subscriber in one of those areas could see both the $15 plan increase and the $15.99 fee. Fubo says the email you receive will spell out the details for your own subscription, and if the email doesn't mention a fee, your fee isn't changing.
When the new price applies
Fubo doesn't give one date for everyone. The change date depends on when NBCUniversal channels become available in your area, and the email sent to the address you log in with includes the date for your account. At $88.99 a month, Fubo is priced as a full cable replacement for sports fans, and the new regional sports fee can push it higher in four NBC markets. Pro is enough for most people. I'd only pay for Elite if you watch in 4K, and I'd look hard at Fubo Sports if sport and news are all you watch.
