As of October 2026, Stan Store has two plans: Creator at $29 a month (or $300 a year) and Creator Pro at $99 a month (or $948 a year). There's a 14-day free trial but no free plan. Stan itself takes 0% of your sales, though Stripe or PayPal still charge their processing fees on every payment.
Stan sells itself on that 0% line, and it's true: Stan doesn't take a cut. But 0% from Stan isn't the same as keeping every penny, and Stan's own help centre is upfront about that. I read Stan's pricing article and two of its help centre pages to set out what you pay Stan, what you pay the payment processors, and what Creator Pro adds.
Stan Store plans side by side
| Creator plan | Creator Pro | |
|---|---|---|
| Billed monthly | $29 a month | $99 a month |
| Billed yearly | $300 a year | $948 a year |
| Stan's cut of each sale | 0% | 0% |
| Funnels and order bumps | Not included | Funnels with up to 20 products, plus order bumps |
| Email marketing | Not included | Email flows and broadcasts, unlimited contacts |
| Affiliate sharing and payment plans | Not included | Yes |
Both plans start with a 14-day free trial. Stan's pricing article says plainly that it offers a trial, not a free plan, so after 14 days you choose a plan or stop.
The processing fees Stan doesn't control
Stan doesn't handle your payments directly. Stripe and PayPal do, and they set their own fees. Stan's help centre lists the Stripe rates it sees by country:
| Your country | Standard Stripe fee through Stan |
|---|---|
| United States | 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction |
| United Kingdom | 1.5% + £0.20 per transaction |
| Australia | 1.75% + A$0.30 per transaction |
Customers who pay with PayPal are charged PayPal's standard fee, which Stan lists as 3.49% plus a fixed fee based on the currency. One practical note from Stan's help page: PayPal fees don't show up in your Stan Income tab, so you'll need to check PayPal itself to see them.
The payout fee hiding at the bottom
Stan's help article also lists a payout fee for US Stripe accounts of 0.25% + $0.25 per payout, with a minimum of $1, and more if you sell in a currency that's different from your Stripe account's currency. Customers outside your country add an international fee too: plus 1.5% for US accounts. None of this is Stan's money, but it all comes out of what lands in your bank.
Monthly or yearly billing?
Both plans are cheaper when you pay for the year up front: $300 a year for Creator and $948 a year for Creator Pro, against $29 and $99 a month. The catch is commitment. Use the 14-day trial and a month or two of monthly billing to make sure Stan fits how you sell before you lock in a year.
Is Creator Pro worth it?
Creator Pro is aimed at creators who'd otherwise pay for a separate email tool and want to sell more to each buyer. If you already pay for email marketing elsewhere, the built-in email flows and broadcasts on Pro may replace that subscription. Funnels and order bumps help each customer buy more in one checkout. If you're only selling one product to a small audience, Creator covers the basics.

What the Creator plan already covers
Stan's pricing article says the Creator plan lets you grow an email list, sell digital products, book coaching calls, host courses and webinars, build memberships, and run a free or paid community, all from one storefront. For a lot of creators starting out, that's the whole toolkit, which is why the jump to Pro should wait until you need funnels or built-in email campaigns.
International buyers and buy now, pay later
- UK Stripe accounts: plus 1.75% when the customer is in a different country.
- Australian Stripe accounts: plus 1.75% for customers in other countries.
- US Stripe accounts: Afterpay at 6.0% + $0.30 and Klarna at 5.99% + $0.30 per transaction.
- Selling in a currency that differs from your Stripe account's currency adds a further charge on payouts.
Stan's help page notes these fees can vary with your location, your customer's currency and the payment method, so treat them as a guide and check your Stripe dashboard.

Plain advice before you choose a Stan plan
Start on Creator during the free trial and only move to Pro when you can name the separate tool it replaces. Pay yearly once you're sure, because $300 a year works out lower than twelve monthly payments of $29. And when you price your products, remember the Stripe fee and payout fee still come off, even though Stan takes nothing.
