No, Google Opinion Rewards isn't officially available in Pakistan on Android: Pakistan isn't among the 39 countries Google lists, while neighbours such as India, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates are. Google decides eligibility from your Google Account country, so changing settings or using a VPN to look like you're elsewhere isn't a workaround; it's the kind of behaviour Google monitors for.
'Google Opinion Rewards in Pakistan' is a big search, and a lot of the videos answering it suggest tricks to get the app working. Before you try any of them, here's what Google's own help centre says about where the app runs and how it decides your country. It'll save you time, and possibly your Google account.
Pakistan and Google's country list
Google's help page names 39 countries where the Google Opinion Rewards app is available for download on Android. Pakistan isn't one of them. Some nearby and comparable markets are, which is why people get confused:
| Country | On Google's Android list? |
|---|---|
| India | Yes |
| Indonesia | Yes |
| Malaysia | Yes |
| Turkey | Yes |
| United Arab Emirates | Yes |
| Pakistan | No |
Google also says users in the available countries must be over 18. The page I read covers the Android app; the iPhone version isn't listed there, so if you're on an iPhone, the App Store is the place to check, and the honest expectation is the same.
How Google decides which country you're in
This is the key to why tricks don't work. Google says Opinion Rewards uses your Google Account country to decide which surveys you receive and which currency your rewards are issued in. That setting is separate from your Play Store country and from your physical location. So downloading the app file from somewhere else, or changing your Play country, doesn't change the country Google has on your account.
Google does let you request a correction on its country association page if your account country doesn't reflect where you live, and it reviews each request. That's for fixing real mistakes, not for picking a country you don't live in.
Why VPN tricks are a bad idea
- Survey answers are shared with market researchers who want people from a specific country; an answer from the wrong country is useless to them.
- Google's help centre says it monitors for spammy behaviour.
- Misrepresenting your country risks problems with the Google account you rely on for Gmail, Drive and your phone.
- Even if a survey appeared, any reward would be tied to an account country you don't live in.
In short, the downside lands on your main Google account, and the upside is a few survey rewards at best. For most people in Pakistan, that Google account holds years of photos, contacts and email, which is far too much to gamble on a survey app that might pay a little Play credit.
If you've moved, or you're travelling
There are two situations where the country question is legitimate. If you've moved from Pakistan to one of the 39 listed countries to live, your Google Account country should reflect where you now live, and Google's country association page is the right place to ask for that change. Google says the review isn't instant, and once it's done the app uses the new country and its currency.
If you're only visiting a listed country, nothing changes. Google uses your account country, not where you happen to be standing, so a holiday in Dubai doesn't make you eligible. And if you return home, your account should still say Pakistan.
One reassurance from Google for people who do move: if your rewards country changes, credit you'd already earned stays in your Play balance in its original currency.
What Pakistani users can do instead
If you want to earn small amounts from your phone in Pakistan, look for apps that officially accept Pakistani users and pay through methods that work locally. I've compared online earning apps that withdraw to Easypaisa and looked at mobile games that pay in Pakistan, with the warning signs to watch for. My rule of thumb: if an app's own help pages don't name Pakistan, assume it doesn't support you.

Watch out for fake 'Google survey' offers
Because the real app isn't available, scams fill the gap. Messages on WhatsApp, Facebook or SMS promising rupees for a 'Google Opinion Rewards survey' and asking for a registration fee, your JazzCash or Easypaisa details, or an OTP aren't from Google. Google's real surveys run inside its own app and never need you to pay. Report and delete them.
Will Google Opinion Rewards come to Pakistan?
Google hasn't said. It could change its list at any time, so it's worth checking the help page now and then, but I wouldn't plan around it. If Pakistan is added, you'll be able to download it normally from the Play Store with your account country set to Pakistan, and no tricks will be needed.
My verdict on Google Opinion Rewards in Pakistan
It isn't officially available in Pakistan, and Google's account-country rule means there's no clean way round that. Skip the VPN videos, protect your Google account, ignore fake survey messages, and put your time into apps that openly support Pakistani users.
Frequently asked questions
Is Google Opinion Rewards available in Pakistan?
Not on Android, according to Google. Pakistan isn't among the 39 countries on Google's availability list.
Can I use a VPN for Google Opinion Rewards in Pakistan?
It won't fix eligibility. Google uses your Google Account country, monitors for spammy behaviour, and misrepresenting your country puts your Google account at risk.
Why does Google Opinion Rewards work in India but not Pakistan?
Google chooses which countries to support; India is on its list of 39 and Pakistan isn't.
How does Google know which country I'm in?
Google Opinion Rewards uses your Google Account country, which is separate from your Play Store country and your physical location.
Is a Google survey on WhatsApp real?
Real Google Opinion Rewards surveys appear in the app. Messages asking for fees, wallet details or an OTP aren't from Google.
