Is U7BUY Legit? Sellers, Refund Claim and Account Risks (2026)

U7BUY looks like a real, operating site: its homepage names Bounty Hunter Technology Co., Limited as the operator and says it refunds orders that aren't delivered. But it lists third-party sellers and categories like accounts, and game publishers' own terms can restrict what's sold, so the risk sits in what you buy rather than the shopfront.

U7BUY sells game top-ups, in-game items, accounts and gift cards, which is exactly the sort of category where fake sites and risky deals are common. I've read what U7BUY says on its own homepage and what Valve's Steam terms say about selling and transferring accounts, so you can judge it without relying on hype. Where I couldn't read a policy, I'll say so.

Who runs U7BUY

The homepage copyright notice names Bounty Hunter Technology Co., Limited as the operator, and the page says the site has been established since 2010. Those are the site's own statements. I couldn't find a regulator or press profile to confirm the company details, so treat them as the company's claims.

It's still a useful sign that a company name is printed on the site at all. Many throwaway shops hide who's behind them. If you want the business details checked further, look up the named company yourself before you spend anything large.

What you can buy on U7BUY

The homepage lists categories including Top Up, Roblox items, Accounts, Subscriptions, Coins, Boosting, Gift Cards, Games Key and Points. That's a wide mix, and the risk level differs a lot between them. A gift card or top-up is a fairly simple purchase. Accounts and boosting are different, because they can run against a game's own rules.

U7BUY sellers and its refund claim

U7BUY's homepage says both individual players and professional companies can sell, and it links to Become Seller and Seller Trade Protect pages. So you're not always buying from U7BUY itself. You may be buying from a third-party seller, with the site sitting in the middle.

On the buyer side, the homepage states a 100% refund if an order is undelivered, and links to a Refund Policy and a Buyer Trade Protect article. I couldn't open the terms behind those links, so I can't tell you the time limits, the evidence you'd need or what happens if the item is delivered but later stops working. Read those pages before you pay, and keep screenshots of your order and chat.

The account and game-terms risk with U7BUY

This is where I'd be most careful. Valve's Steam Subscriber Agreement says accounts are strictly personal and may not be sold or transferred, and that you may not sell, charge for or transfer Subscriptions unless the agreement or Valve expressly permits it. It also says Valve doesn't recognize any transfers of Subscriptions made outside of Steam.

In plain English, a seller might deliver something that works today and still leave you exposed if the publisher objects later. Other publishers have their own terms too, so check the rules of the specific game before you buy an account, coins or boosting. I'd never encourage anyone to break a game's terms, and a refund promise doesn't protect an account the publisher decides to lock.

Steam Wallet is another thing to know about. Valve says Wallet funds have no cash value and aren't exchangeable for cash, so don't treat them as money you can recover from a third party.

Using U7BUY more safely

  • Pay inside the official checkout and keep every conversation inside the platform's own chat.
  • Never move a deal to messaging apps, bank transfer or gift cards because a seller asks.
  • Prefer simple purchases such as top-ups and gift cards over accounts or boosting.
  • Don't share your own game password. Anyone who needs it to deliver is a warning sign.
  • Screenshot the listing, the seller name and the order page before you pay.
  • Check the game's own terms for what the publisher allows.

The same habits you'd use on any shopping site apply, and my guides to spotting a fake product review and the product review sites worth checking help when you're sizing up a seller from outside reviews.

Fake U7BUY sites and phishing logins

Any site that handles game accounts attracts lookalikes. Type the address yourself rather than tapping an advert or a link in a message. Be suspicious of pages that ask for your Steam or game login, because a real checkout for a top-up shouldn't need your password. Keep the email you received about an order, and contact support only through the official site.

If you see a deal that is far below normal prices, ask why. Stolen payment cards and compromised accounts are a common source of cheap keys and currency.

My verdict on U7BUY

It presents as a real business with a named operator, third-party sellers and a stated refund promise for undelivered orders. I'm not calling it a scam. But I couldn't read its full refund or buyer protection terms, I found no independent source confirming its claims, and the more unusual products, like accounts, run into publishers' rules. If you use it, stick to simple purchases, read the refund policy first and don't share your game password.
