Is Pink Lily Legit? Returns, Refund Fees and Fake Ads (2026)

Pink Lily is a real online fashion retailer: its About page names Tori Gerbig as founder and says the business began as a side hustle selling outfits from her living room. Its policies give 30 days to return or exchange, but cash refunds lose a processing fee and Final Sale items can't be returned.

Pink Lily ads follow a lot of us around social media, so it's fair to ask whether the dresses are real and what happens if they don't fit. I've read Pink Lily's About page, returns policy and shipping policy so you know the rules before you check out.

Who started Pink Lily and what it sells

Pink Lily's About page names Tori Gerbig as the founder and says Chris Gerbig joined her full-time in 2014. It describes the business as starting as a side hustle, selling outfits from Tori's living room. I couldn't find a founding year or a head office address on the pages I read, so I won't guess either.

The company describes what it sells as affordable, trend-driven fashion. The site menu lists dresses, tops, bottoms, activewear, lounge and sleep, and accessories. In other words, it's a clothing retailer selling its own range, not a place where strangers sell to you.

How Pink Lily returns and exchanges work

Pink Lily's return policy says you have 30 days from the ship date to return or exchange an item. Note that the clock starts at the ship date, not the day the parcel lands on your doorstep, so don't leave it.

Exchanges are free: you can ask for a different size of the same item within that window. Return shipping is free for store credit and exchanges.

Refund or store credit?

Here's the detail that surprises people. A refund to your original payment method is sent minus a 7.95 dollar processing fee, and the policy says to allow up to 7-10 business days after the return reaches the warehouse. Store credit has no processing fee.

Pink Lily says store credit comes as an E-Gift Card, sent once the carrier scans the return, with no expiration date. Whether credit suits you depends on whether you'll shop there again, so check the terms for your situation.

Final Sale, Sale and Doorbuster items at Pink Lily

Final Sale items can't be returned or exchanged at all. Sale and Doorbuster items are eligible only for exchange or store credit, not a refund to the original payment method. Look for the label on the product page before you add something to the bag.

The policy adds a few other conditions. Shoes must go back in a protective outer box, minor colour or pattern differences caused by lighting, screens or dye lots aren't treated as defects, and there are no price adjustments. For buy-one-get-one events, returning only the paid item gets half the refund and returning only the free item gets no refund.

Wrong or faulty items from Pink Lily

If something arrives defective or incorrect, Pink Lily says to contact Customer Care within 3 days of receipt, with a photo of the issue. It also says no restocking fee applies if it shipped the wrong product. Three days is short, so open your parcel straight away and take photos before you wash or wear anything.

Pink Lily also says orders can't be changed, canceled or modified after checkout, so double-check your size and address on the final screen.

Shipping, delivery times and customs with Pink Lily

According to Pink Lily's shipping policy, orders typically take 1-3 business days to pack and ship. Free standard shipping applies on orders over 79 dollars in the continental U.S. only, with APOs excluded. Other shipping speeds are available at checkout.

Want AI doing the heavy lifting in your marketing?

I build the systems that handle the boring 80 percent, so you get your week back. Done properly, with the human kept in.

Canada orders are charged by weight, and other international destinations ship via FedEx. The policy says customs fees, taxes and duties are the customer's responsibility, so if you're ordering from outside the U.S., allow for that on top of the checkout total. The page I read didn't say where parcels ship from.

If a problem isn't sorted out by Customer Care, pay attention to how you paid. Card issuers and payment services have their own dispute routes, and the evidence they'll ask for is the same as Pink Lily's: your order confirmation, the policy as it read when you ordered, and dated photos. A screenshot of the returns page on the day you buy costs you nothing.

Fake Pink Lily sites and social ads

A well-known brand name is exactly what copycat shops borrow. Be careful with adverts promising huge discounts on Pink Lily clothes, especially if the web address isn't the brand's own. Pay only inside the official checkout, and never by bank transfer, gift card or a payment link sent in a message.

  • Type the address yourself rather than following an advert.
  • Check the returns and shipping pages exist and match what you've read here.
  • Be suspicious of prices that look far below the brand's own site.
  • Keep your order confirmation and photos of anything faulty.

The verdict on Pink Lily

Pink Lily looks like a real fashion retailer with published policies and a named founder. The costs are in the detail: a processing fee on card refunds, no refunds for Final Sale, a short window for faults and no changes after checkout. Read the policy for your order, and you'll know what you're getting.
