Is Sportzino Legit? Sweepstakes Coins and Social Sportsbook (2026)

Sportzino is a real app run by SSPS LLC, according to its site and App Store listing, and it blends casino-style games with a social sportsbook. The listing says no purchase is necessary. The catch: it's a sweepstakes model where coin packages can be lost, Tennessee's regulator sent it a cease-and-desist letter, and New York's Attorney General named it among 26 platforms.

Sportzino gets searched a lot because it sits in an odd spot: it looks like a sportsbook, plays like a casino and calls itself a social app. If you're wondering whether it's a real company that pays, or just another flashy name, here's what its own pages say and what officials and the press have reported. I'm not a lawyer and this isn't legal advice.

SSPS LLC and what Sportzino offers

Sportzino's website says its sweepstakes promotions are operated by SSPS LLC, with a registered address in Dover, Delaware. The App Store listing names the same company as seller. Covers describes Sportzino as operated by the Canadian company Blazesoft and says it launched in late 2023 with more than 1,000 titles, many resembling traditional casino games.

The listing is titled Sportzino: Social Sportsbook and advertises sweep slots, bingo, crash and scratch games alongside sportsbook picks. So you get two things under one login: casino-style games and picks on sports and esports contests.

The sweepstakes model on Sportzino: daily coins and no purchase

The App Store description says no purchase is necessary: you log in daily to collect daily coins and play for fun. It also carries a line that Apple isn't affiliated with, or responsible for conducting the sweepstakes promotions, which is standard for this kind of app and worth reading as a flag that this isn't a regular bookmaker.

The in-app purchases are coin packages. That's where the money question comes in: you can claim free coins, but you can also buy more, and anything you buy can be lost on chance-based games.

Age and state limits on Sportzino: check the map

Here's a gap I want to be honest about. Sportzino shows its operating states on a map rather than a plain list, and the minimum age sits in an image badge on its pages, so I couldn't read either as text. Third-party review sites disagree with each other about both, so I'm not going to repeat their numbers.

What I'd do instead: open Sportzino's own states page, look at the Available and Not available key, and read the age line in the terms before you create an account. If your state is shown as unavailable, that's your answer. Never use a VPN to get around it, because it can get an account closed along with its balance.

Tennessee, New York and Sportzino's regulatory record

These are actions, not court findings. Covers reported that Sportzino withdrew from Tennessee after receiving a cease-and-desist order from the state's Sports Wagering Council, ending its online sweepstakes sports gaming activities there.

The New York Attorney General's office also listed Sportzino among 26 platforms it sent cease and desist letters to. The Attorney General was quoted saying online sweepstakes casinos are illegal, dangerous, and can seriously ruin people's finances. I'm not going to rule on that: your state regulator and the terms are where to look.

The practical reading is simple. Availability can change when a state acts, so a balance in a state that later blocks the app is a risk you can avoid by not holding much.

Redemption on Sportzino: what I could and couldn't confirm

The terms and rules pages wouldn't open for me as readable text, and review sites quote different minimums, playthrough rules and payout speeds. So I won't quote any. Before you buy coins, find the redemption section in your account and note three things: the smallest amount you can cash out, whether coins must be played through first, and which ID documents you'll need to upload. Expect identity checks.

The real catch with Sportzino

Sports picks feel skill-based, and that's what makes it easy to spend more than you meant to. The casino games are chance, and the picks are never certain. If you buy coin packages you can lose all of it. Set a limit, don't chase a loss, and if it stops being fun, stop. The listing I read had no responsible-play section, so make your own rules before you start.

Fake Sportzino accounts and offers

Betting-style brands attract imposters. Be suspicious of anyone messaging you offering to "top up" your Sportzino coins, sell you a balance or recover a payout for a fee. The company's pages describe collecting coins and redeeming within your own account. Only use the official App Store listing or the official website, and never share your password or ID photos in a chat.
