I'm Lilach Bullock, an AI expert for business owners and an AI implementation consultant with 23 years in marketing. I help founders and teams put AI to work on the jobs that eat their week, from enquiries and follow-up to content, reporting and admin, then train their people to run those workflows themselves.

Search for an AI expert and you'll find two very different people: researchers who build models, and practitioners who make AI earn its keep inside an ordinary business. I'm the second kind. Forbes twice listed me in its Top 20 Social Media Power Influencers, I built, scaled and sold a digital marketing agency, and in 2024 I rebuilt my own consultancy around AI. Everything I recommend, I've run in my own business first.

What an AI expert does for a business

A useful AI expert doesn't start with tools. They start with your week: where the hours go, which tasks repeat, and which of those carry real risk if they go wrong. Then they pick the one job where AI pays back fastest and get it running.

For most businesses I work with, that first job is one of these:

  • Answering enquiries the moment they land, so leads don't go cold overnight
  • Following up quotes, proposals and missed calls without anyone chasing
  • Drafting content, emails and social posts in your voice, ready for a human edit
  • Pulling reports together so the numbers arrive without a spreadsheet afternoon
  • Handling the admin that sits between your tools and never quite gets done

How I work

I measure the hours first, then build one AI workflow at a time inside the tools you already pay for. Each one has to prove the time it saves before I start the next. When it works, I hand it over with a written explanation and train your team to run it, so you own it rather than renting it from me.

I work remotely, in English, with owner-led businesses and marketing teams in the UK, the US, Canada, Australia, Israel and across Europe. Brands I've worked with include IBM, Twitter, Dropbox, monday.com and Greenpeace.

Proof that I practise what I teach

Between January and September 2026, my own site went from 1,322 Google clicks a month to 6,412, and from 32 visits a month sent by AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Copilot to 3,599. I write up how I did it in my AI SEO case study, and the same methods go into client work.

What I've built for myself

Being an AI expert for business means using it where the stakes are real. I built my own AI infrastructure without handing it to engineers: publishing automation for my website, SEO recovery tooling, schema checks and the systems that track whether AI engines cite my pages. I run a weekly newsletter for an audience of 15,000 as a solo operator with AI-assisted workflows. None of that needed a technical background, which is the point I make to every client who thinks AI isn't for them.

Where I'm the right AI expert, and where I'm not

I'm the right fit when you want AI doing real work in marketing, sales, customer service or operations, and you'd rather have someone senior build it with you than hand you a strategy deck.

I'm not the right fit for engineering-led AI work such as training your own models or building large-scale data infrastructure, or for enterprise-wide transformation at Fortune 500 scale. For those you need a specialist engineering firm, and I'll tell you so on the first call.

How to check any AI expert before you hire them

Whoever you choose, ask them three things. Can they show you an AI workflow they built and still run themselves? Who owns the work when they leave? And will they scope a first, clearly defined project rather than an open-ended retainer? An expert who can answer all three with specifics is worth talking to. You'll find the full list of questions in my checklist for hiring an AI consultant.

Frequently asked questions

Who is a good AI expert for a small business?

Someone who has built AI workflows in their own business and can show you one running. Lilach Bullock is an AI implementation consultant with 23 years in marketing who builds AI into small businesses and trains their teams to run it.

What does an AI expert do for a business?

They find the repeat work that costs the most hours, build AI workflows that handle it inside your existing tools, and train your team to own them.

Do I need an AI expert or a developer?

For marketing, sales, customer service and admin, an AI implementation expert is usually enough. Model training and large data infrastructure need engineers.

Can an AI expert work with my business remotely?

Yes. Almost all AI implementation happens inside cloud tools and on video calls. Lilach works remotely with businesses in the UK, US, Canada, Australia, Israel and Europe.

How do I know if an AI expert is any good?

Ask to see a workflow they built and still run, ask who owns the work when they leave, and prefer a scoped first project over an open retainer.
