Write for Us Pharma: Pharma Blog Guest Post Guidelines

Yes, pharma guest posts are accepted on this blog. The ideal writer is a pharmacist, regulatory specialist, pharma marketer, clinical operations lead or pharma founder who can explain how the industry works from the inside. We decline medical advice, dosing guidance, claims about any medicine and posts that promote a product.

Most pharma pitches are either product promotion dressed up as news or medical advice that no blog should publish. What this blog wants is the industry view from someone who works in it: how a pharma marketing team stays inside the rules on social media, what a regulatory lead checks before a campaign goes live, how a pharmacist moved from a counter into a remote role in industry.

My readers are business owners, marketers and professionals, and a good number work in or sell to healthcare. They already read my guides to clinical trial management systems and how pharmacists find remote roles outside pharmacy. A pharma post has to explain how the industry works, never tell a reader what to take.

60-second pharma guest post check

A strong submission can answer yes to all five points:

  • Do you work in pharma, pharmacy, regulatory affairs or pharma marketing
  • Can you explain how one part of the industry works, with a real example
  • Does your opening answer the reader's question in the first two lines
  • Have you left out medical advice, dosing and claims about any medicine
  • Would a marketer or professional outside pharma follow it

Read the guidelines and submit your guest post.

What we publish

  • Pharma marketing inside the rules: social media, content and email
  • Regulatory and compliance processes explained for non specialists
  • Clinical trials and operations from the inside
  • Careers in pharma and moving from pharmacy into industry
  • Digital tools and AI in pharma teams
  • Supply chain and manufacturing lessons for pharma businesses
  • Patient communication and plain language in healthcare
  • Starting and growing a pharma services business

If your post could be published on any pharma site with the logo swapped, it is not for us.

What we look for in pharma posts

These are the pharma topics that land, and the version of each that gets turned down.

TopicWhat gets acceptedWhat gets declined
Pharma marketingHow your team plans content within the rulesPromotion for a named medicine
RegulatoryA process explained with a real (anonymised) exampleLegal advice for a reader's own case
Clinical operationsHow trials run day to day and what goes wrongClaims about trial results
CareersYour move into or within the industryGeneric job hunting tips
Patient communicationMaking information clear and kindMedical or dosing advice

What we don't accept

  • Medical advice, dosing guidance or treatment recommendations
  • Claims about any medicine, supplement or treatment
  • Product promotion dressed up as industry news
  • Thin posts under 800 words with no first hand experience
  • Previously published posts republished from another site

What you get

  • Your article in front of an engaged audience of business owners, marketers and founders
  • One relevant, contextual link back to your own site
  • A byline and the credibility of an established, high-traffic blog
  • Editorial help to make the piece as strong as it can be before it goes live

How to submit

Send your pitch or draft through the contact form. Include the topic, the one specific problem the post solves, and a line on your first-hand experience with it. One idea per pitch works best. You will hear back on whether it is a fit before you write the full draft.

What a strong pharma pitch looks like

A weak pitch says "I want to write about the best medicines for anxiety." A strong one says "I lead regulatory review for a mid sized pharma company, and I want to show the five checks our team runs on every social media post before it goes live, with an anonymised example of a post we changed." One is a brochure. The other is worth reading.

The angles that get accepted fastest

  • How pharma marketers plan social content inside the rules
  • What a regulatory review checks
  • Moving from community pharmacy into an industry role
  • How clinical trial teams use software day to day
  • Plain language patient materials that people read
  • AI tools in pharma teams: where they help and where they don't
  • What a pharma start up gets wrong in its first year
  • Running a remote team in a regulated industry

Frequently asked questions

Does Lilach Bullock accept pharma guest posts?

Yes. Pharma guest posts are welcome from pharmacists, regulatory specialists, pharma marketers, clinical operations leads and founders who can explain how the industry works. We publish practical industry articles and never publish medical advice or claims about any medicine.

What pharma topics do you accept?

Pharma marketing and compliance, regulatory processes, clinical operations, careers in pharma, digital tools and AI in pharma teams, and patient communication. The common thread is how the industry works, written for professionals.

Do you accept health and healthcare guest posts too?

Yes, but wellbeing and healthcare service pitches suit the health and healthcare pages better. Every pitch reaches the same editor, and no page on this blog publishes medical advice.

How long should a guest post be?

Most accepted posts run between 1,200 and 2,000 words. Length matters less than usefulness: a tight 1,200 word post with one clear lesson beats a 3,000 word overview every time. Use short paragraphs, clear subheadings and at least one real example.

Can I include a link back to my own site?

One contextual link back to your own site is fine when it is relevant and helps the reader. Posts written purely to build a backlink with no real value for the reader are not published.

Do you accept previously published content?

No. Every submission must be original and not published anywhere else first, including your own blog, Medium, LinkedIn or a guest slot on another site. Republished or lightly reworded content gets declined, and we check before anything goes live.

Can I use AI tools to help write my guest post?

You can use AI to help with research or tidying your draft, but the experience, examples and opinions must be yours. Posts that read like generic AI output, with no first-hand detail, are declined.

Do you accept sponsored or commercial partnerships?

Commercial and partnership enquiries are handled separately from editorial guest posts. If you are a brand or agency wanting to work together rather than pitch an article, say so in the contact form and you will get the right details back.

How long does a decision take?

We aim to come back to you within a few working days. If the pitch is specific and clearly written, with the result in the first line, the decision is much faster.

Do you edit guest posts before they go live?

Yes. Every accepted post gets an editorial pass for clarity, structure and accuracy, and you may be asked for an extra example or a missing number. The aim is to make your piece as useful as it can be, not to change your voice.

Can I pitch more than one idea?

Yes, but send them one at a time or as a short numbered list with one line each. The strongest pitch goes first, and a single clear idea with a real result almost always beats several vague ones.

How do I submit a pharma guest post?

Send your pitch through the contact form with the topic, the specific result or lesson you will cover, and a line on your own experience working in pharma, pharmacy or regulatory affairs. One idea per pitch works best, and you will hear back before you write the full draft.
