I'm Lilach Bullock, a British AI trainer and AI implementation consultant who trains Perth business teams over video. Sessions are hands-on and built on your team's real tasks, so people leave using ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude or Gemini on work they do every week, with clear rules on data and checks.

Perth businesses often feel a long way from where AI training happens. In practice, the useful kind doesn't need a classroom at all. It needs your team, their own files and someone who knows how AI fits into marketing, sales and admin work.

I've been in marketing for 23 years, since 2003. I've reviewed more than three hundred tools on this site and spoken at over 100 events internationally. Now I train teams to use AI on their own work, and I build the workflows when they'd rather not.

Training that fits a Perth working day

All my sessions run over video, so distance doesn't matter and nobody travels. We agree times that suit your team, and longer programmes can be split into shorter sessions so client work doesn't stop.

  • On your own screens: people practise in the tools and files they'll use afterwards.
  • On your own tasks: reports, proposals, emails and meeting notes, not generic examples.
  • With your own rules: what's safe to share with AI, agreed before anyone starts.

What WA suppliers should know about the state's AI framework

If your business works with the WA public sector, there's a detail worth knowing. The Government of Western Australia's Artificial Intelligence Policy and Assurance Framework, first published on 5 March 2024 and last updated on 25 August 2026, says public sector entities must use its self-assessment for any system or project driven by AI or automated decision making, at every phase, whether the AI is procured, built or adapted.

That means a WA agency buying anything with AI inside it has paperwork to complete, and the lead of the project has to complete it. Projects with mid-range or higher residual risk go to the WA Government AI Advisory Board, whose advice is non-binding. If you supply services that use AI to an agency, expect questions about how your AI works and how it's checked. Teams who've been trained to document their AI use answer those questions far more easily.

How a Perth session runs

Each session is built on your team, so the detail changes. The structure doesn't.

  1. We list the repeat tasks that take your team the most time.
  2. We practise AI on two or three of them, live, with your real material.
  3. Each person saves prompts they can reuse straight away.
  4. We agree rules for data, checking and sign-off.
  5. Everyone leaves with a plan for the next fortnight, and I follow up.

Teams that get the most from it

Marketing teams, professional services firms, resources-sector suppliers, agencies and owner-led businesses. Teams with Copilot or ChatGPT licences that nobody uses, and teams where a few people use AI quietly and everyone else is unsure if it's allowed.

You don't need technical skills. If your team can use email, they can follow the session. All sessions run in English.

Keeping AI use checkable

Whether or not you work with government, it pays to be able to explain how your business uses AI. Which tools, for which tasks, who checks the output and what never goes in. It takes an afternoon to write down and saves a lot of awkward conversations with clients later.

I build that record into the training. By the end, your team has its rules on one page and a list of where AI is used, which is exactly what a careful client or an agency will ask to see.

Other ways to work together

If you'd rather have the workflows built for you, see my page for AI consulting in Perth. Teams on the east coast might also like AI training in Sydney, which follows the same method. Every option is on my work with me page.

Good first projects for Perth teams

The first projects that work best are small, frequent and annoying. Weekly reports that gather figures from several places. Proposals and tenders that reuse the same sections with small changes. Client updates written from long email threads. Meeting notes that never quite get written up.

Each of those has the same pattern: a mostly right draft saves real time, and a person can check it quickly. That's where AI pays back on day one. Harder jobs, like analysis that drives a decision, come later once the team knows where AI tends to slip.

I also help teams decide what to leave alone. Anything that needs a judgement about a person, or a commitment on behalf of the business, stays with a human. AI can prepare the ground, but someone with authority signs it off.

My plain advice before booking AI training in Perth

Choose the tasks first. A team that knows which three jobs it wants faster gets much more from training than a team that turns up curious. If you supply the WA public sector, write down how you use AI before an agency asks.

Then judge the training by what people do differently a month later. If nothing's changed, it was a demo.
