AI Keynote Speaker Canada: Lilach Bullock, AI Marketing Speaker for Canadian Events
Lilach Bullock is an AI marketing keynote speaker for Canadian conferences, associations and company events, live online across Canada's time zones or in person for the right event. She has 21 years in marketing, worked with brands including Hootsuite and Greenpeace, both of which started in Canada, partnered with Twitter, Dropbox, IBM and monday.com, and has spoken at over 100 events internationally.
Search "AI speaker" in Canada and half the results are smart speakers. If you're here for a person who will stand up at your conference and make AI useful for your audience, that's me.
The Canadian connection
Two of the organisations I've worked with started in Canada: Hootsuite, the social media management platform, and Greenpeace. Because I've worked with Hootsuite, when I talk about how social, content and now AI change marketing, the examples come from inside the industry rather than from a slide I found.
I've also taught live online for years, including Simplilearn webinars on digital selling (2017) and conversion rate optimisation (2019), so a virtual keynote for a country as spread out as Canada is familiar ground. My consulting guide for Canadian businesses hiring AI marketing help covers the same market from the buyer's side.
What Canadian audiences ask about AI
- "Can we use AI for outreach under CASL?" Yes, with care. Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation needs consent before commercial email, and AI makes it very easy to send a lot of email to people who never agreed to it. I show where AI helps (research, personalisation, follow up to opted-in contacts) and where it gets a business into trouble.
- "Is there a Canadian AI chatbot?" Google shows this question in Canada, and it tells you something about the audience: Canadians want to know where their tools come from. Canada has its own AI model makers, Cohere among them, and I cover how to choose tools when data location matters to your customers.
- "Which tasks should a small team hand to AI first?" Follow up, proposals, reporting and first drafts. The Canadian small business version is on my AI consultant Canada page.
- "Are we too late?" No. Most businesses I meet are using AI for writing and nothing else. The gains are in the boring work nobody has automated yet.
Keynotes for Canadian events
AI outreach that respects your audience
For sales and marketing conferences. AI prospect research and personalisation, consent under CASL, and the follow up systems that run every day without annoying anyone.
Getting recommended by AI assistants
For marketing, SaaS and agency events. How ChatGPT and Google's AI pick the businesses they name, with numbers from my study of 400 live Google results.
From social media to AI: what changed and what didn't
For social media and content audiences. Forbes listed me among the Top 20 Social Media Power Influencers. This talk is about which of the old social lessons still pay, and which AI has rewritten.
Time zones and language
Canada spans six time zones, and Newfoundland runs half an hour off the rest. A live virtual keynote at noon Eastern is 9am in British Columbia and 1:30pm in Newfoundland, which is usually the slot that reaches everyone. Most of Saskatchewan doesn't change its clocks, so double-check prairie times between March and November.
I speak in English. For a bilingual or francophone audience, simultaneous interpretation or a bilingual moderator for the Q&A works well, and I'll share slides early so the interpreters can prepare.
What Canadian organisers search for
DataForSEO estimates around 140 Canadian searches a month for "keynote speaker Canada" in October 2026, and around 20 for "AI keynote speaker". Organisers find a speaker first and the topic second, so ask every name on your shortlist for a recent AI example from their own work before you book.

Frequently asked questions
What is an AI speaker?
In events, an AI speaker is a keynote speaker who talks about artificial intelligence. In shops, it's a smart speaker. On this page it means me: a marketing practitioner who speaks about using AI in business.
Can you deliver a live keynote across Canadian time zones?
Yes. Noon Eastern is usually the slot that works from British Columbia to Newfoundland, and I include a live Q&A.
Do you cover CASL in AI marketing talks?
Yes, at a practical level for marketers. It isn't legal advice, but I show where AI outreach needs consent and how to keep follow up to people who opted in.
How do I book Lilach Bullock for a Canadian event?
Book a call with the date, the audience and the format, and you'll get a clear answer and a proposal.
