TikTok's Creator Rewards Programme pays roughly $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 qualified views on videos over a minute long, so a creator doing 1 million qualified views a month earns about $400 to $1,000 from the programme, and brand deals usually pay more than that at the same size. Enter your monthly views, followers and niche below and the calculator gives you a realistic low to high band for programme earnings, brand deals and the total. It runs entirely in your browser and nothing is stored.
The calculator
How the calculator works
It uses the figures creators publish about their own payouts rather than a single official rate, because neither platform publishes one. You get a band instead of one number on purpose: payouts move every month with advertiser demand, and a band is the honest answer.
The maths, so nothing is hidden
- Creator Rewards Programme = qualified monthly views divided by 1,000, times $0.40 for the low end and $1.00 for the high end. Only views on videos over a minute long from eligible countries count.
- Brand deal rate = followers divided by 10,000, times $10, times the niche multiplier. The niche figure is a multiplier on the brand deal rate: finance and business 1.3, tech 1.2, beauty and fashion 1.1, fitness 1.05, general 1.0, comedy and entertainment 0.9. The range is minus 30 percent and plus 30 percent.
- Total assumes two sponsored videos a month on top of the programme, which is a common cadence for a growing creator.
- Not included: LIVE gifts, TikTok Shop commissions, Series and subscriptions, which can all add to the total.
Currency conversion uses fixed approximate rates (1 USD = 0.78 GBP, 0.92 EUR, 84 INR, 278 PKR), close enough for an estimate and not updated live.
What the estimate does not know about you
Video length, how many ad breaks you enable, the season (advertisers spend most in the run-up to December and least in January), and how many of your viewers are in high-value countries all move the real number. Use the band as your planning figure, then check it against your own analytics after a full month. For the same maths on Instagram, use the Instagram money calculator.

Frequently asked questions
How many followers do you need to make money on TikTok?
The Creator Rewards Programme needs 10,000 followers and 100,000 views in the last 30 days, and you must be 18 or over in an eligible country. Brand deals have no follower minimum, and micro creators with a few thousand engaged followers get paid product and small fees regularly.
How much does TikTok pay per 1,000 views?
Most creators report $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 qualified views under the Creator Rewards Programme, which only counts views on videos over a minute long from eligible countries. The old Creator Fund paid two to four cents per 1,000 views, which is why older articles quote a much lower number.
How much does TikTok pay for 1 million views?
Somewhere around $400 to $1,000 from the Creator Rewards Programme if the views qualify, and nothing if the video is under a minute or the audience is mostly outside eligible countries. A brand deal on a video that size typically pays more than the programme does.
Do brand deals pay more than the Creator Rewards Programme?
Usually, yes. A rough rule is $10 per 10,000 followers per sponsored video, adjusted for niche and engagement, and a single deal often beats a month of programme earnings for creators under 100,000 followers.
Is this calculator accurate?
It is an estimate from publicly reported creator figures, not a quote from TikTok. Programme payouts change month to month with ad demand, and brand deal rates depend on the brand, deliverables and how well you negotiate.
