Qmee is a real, free survey and cashback app run by Qmee Ltd, and its FAQ says there's no minimum withdrawal when you cash out to PayPal or Venmo. The catch is that surveys can be declined after you start, and cashback can take up to 90 days to arrive. It suits small, occasional earnings, not a regular income.
Qmee has been around the survey scene for a while, and it's one of the few that pays out with no minimum. That sounds almost too easy, so I've gone through its FAQ line by line to see what's promised and where the catches sit.
What Qmee is and who runs it
Qmee's FAQ names Qmee Ltd as the company and describes the service as a free mobile app and desktop site where you can earn real money for taking paid surveys. It's more than surveys, though. You can earn from cashback on shopping, from search rewards, from game offers and from daily activities.
Everything you can earn from on Qmee
- Surveys. You answer profile questions, and surveys are matched to you.
- Cashback. Shopping, service and trial offers, as long as you click the Go to cashback button first.
- Search rewards. Add the app or browser extension and you can earn extra cash when you search for your favourite sites.
- Games. Offers that pay you to play.
- Daily extras. Daily Ponder and a daily pop quiz.
Qmee also describes a streak bonus. Completing surveys or Daily Ponder five days in a row increases your survey rewards, with an extra 10 percent described for a daily survey streak.
How Qmee pays you out
Qmee's FAQ says that with no minimum withdrawal amount, you can cash out to your PayPal or Venmo account whenever you like. It says the money will appear in your account within a few minutes, though bank hours, holidays and outside systems can cause delays.
There are rules worth knowing before you link an account:
- The PayPal account must be in the same country as your Qmee account and fully verified.
- It can't be linked to another Qmee account.
- Once linked, a PayPal account can't be unlinked, so choose carefully.
Gift cards come in fixed amounts only, and you first need to link PayPal and cash out a small amount to it. Qmee also says it takes no commission when you cash out to charity.
The catches with Qmee surveys and cashback
This is where expectations need managing. Qmee says some surveys can be deemed unsuccessful and declined by the survey provider. That means you can spend time on a survey and still not get paid for it. It's an industry-wide frustration, and Qmee at least says so on the page.
Cashback is slower still. Qmee says payment can take anywhere between a couple of weeks and a maximum of 90 days, depending on the brand. And if you don't click the Go to cashback button before you shop, the purchase may not be tracked at all.
If you want to compare how other sites deal with unpaid screen-outs and approvals, my guide to paid survey sites worth joining goes through the main ones.
Where you can use Qmee
The FAQ says it's available in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, France and Germany, with more countries coming soon. The FAQ page I read didn't state a minimum age, so check the sign-up page before you register. You're only permitted one Qmee account, so don't create a second.
What Qmee says about your data
Qmee says it doesn't share your data with anyone without your permission, and it says it doesn't store financial information when you cash out. It also says webcam surveys and surveys asking for personal information can be turned off in your settings. Those are the company's statements, so read the privacy policy if you want the detail.

Spotting fake Qmee messages
A real Qmee payout lands in your PayPal or Venmo within minutes, with no fee from Qmee. Be wary of anyone asking you to pay to release earnings, share a PayPal password or move to a chat app. Use the official app and site only.

How Qmee fits with other side income
Treat Qmee as a bit of pocket money you can pick up while you're doing something else. For a survey-style platform with a published hourly floor, see my article on how much Prolific pays. If you like passive earning from your screen time, apps that pay you to watch videos is worth a look.
My verdict: Qmee looks like a real company with a clear FAQ and a refreshingly low barrier to cashing out. Just expect declined surveys and slow cashback, and keep your hopes realistic.
