Instagram doesn't pay Egyptian creators per view or per follower, and Egypt isn't named in Meta's announced country lists for Instagram gifts, bonuses or brand matching. Egyptian creators earn mainly from brand deals paid in Egyptian pounds, and because Egypt and Arabic are both on Meta's Facebook Content Monetization lists, cross-posting Reels to Facebook can add invite-only performance pay.
Egypt has one of the biggest Instagram audiences I've written about, so it's no wonder Cairo and Alexandria creators keep asking what the app pays. I'll be straight with you: there's no Instagram rate per view in Egypt, and the direct-pay tools haven't been announced there. But an audience this large is worth a lot to brands, and there's a Meta-paid route that suits Arabic-language creators better than most.
Egypt's Instagram audience by the numbers
According to DataReportal, Meta's advertising tools showed 21.7 million Instagram users in Egypt in late 2025. Potential ad reach grew by 2.65 million, or 13.9 percent, in a year, and 28.4 percent of Egyptian adults aged 18 and above used Instagram by the end of 2025.
The same report puts Egypt's adult ad audience at 46.3 percent female and 53.0 percent male, a fairly even split. For you, that means brands across fashion, food, beauty, telecoms and finance all have a reason to buy Egyptian creator content. Scale is your selling point. Use it.
Is Instagram's own money available in Egypt?
Here's what Meta's announcements show for each Instagram earning tool:

Meta does add countries without fanfare, so look in the Monetisation section of your Professional Dashboard every so often. Whatever shows there is the real answer for your account. Turkey and Georgia are on the gifts list, so the region isn't being ignored, but Egypt hasn't been named yet.
Arabic Reels and Facebook Content Monetization
This is where Egyptian creators have an edge. Meta's help centre lists Egypt among the countries where Facebook Content Monetization ads are available, and Arabic is on its list of supported languages. The programme is invite-only and pays on the performance of eligible public content.
The rules exclude content crossposted by a Page you don't own or manage, but they don't exclude content crossposted from Instagram. So your Arabic Reels can do double duty: build your Instagram brand, then earn on a Facebook Page you run. Keep them original and watch for an invite in the Facebook app, Meta Business Suite or your Professional Dashboard.
Facebook Subscriptions are different. Egypt isn't among the 37 countries where they're open to Pages, so they're invite-only for Egyptian creators.
How payment works in Egyptian pounds
Egypt's currency is the Egyptian pound, code EGP, known locally as the junayh and issued by the Central Bank of Egypt. Local brands and agencies usually pay in pounds, and you'll agree the method with them before you start. Vodafone is Egypt's largest mobile operator by active subscribers, and many creators reach their audience mainly on mobile, so keep your content built for the phone screen.
Gulf or international brands may want to pay in another currency. Agree the currency, the payment date and who covers fees in writing before you start. If Meta pays you directly one day, the payout options for an Egyptian account will appear when you set up payouts in your Professional Dashboard. I couldn't read a Meta page listing them for Egypt, so check that screen yourself.
What Egyptian creators can charge
I haven't found a reputable named source that publishes Instagram rates for Egypt, so you won't see a pound figure from me. What I can share is how strong creators price their work:

The creators I see doing well in Egypt treat each platform as a different tool. Instagram builds your brand and wins deals. Facebook can pay on performance if you're invited.
