10 best tools to create interactive content for your website or blog

2017 is a busy year in content marketing. With more and more businesses investing in it, the market is getting beyond saturated. This means, there’s a big need for more diversified and engaging content – and one way to achieve that, is through interactive content.

In this blog post, I’m going to share my favourite 10 tools to help you create interactive content for your website.

What is interactive content – and why would I want it?

[sc_fs_faq sc_id=”fs_faqtpqpudos8″ html=”true” headline=”p” img=”” question=”What is interactive content?” img_alt=”” css_class=”” ]Interactive content is a type of content that gets the audience to interact; rather than just watching, reading or listening, interactive content requires active participation from the reader/viewer.[/sc_fs_faq]

What makes this type of content so great is that it captures readers’ imaginations and makes them want to interact. Well, of course, only so long as you create good content and the subject makes them want to take part.

Here are some of the best tools to help you easily create interactive content on your website:

1.    SnapApp

10 best tools to create interactive content

SnapApp is an interactive content marketing platform that allows you to create all kinds of cool interactive content. For example, you can use it to create interactive videos and infographics, calculators, quizzes and contests and these are just some of the types of content available. Their drag and drop builder is very easy to use and another useful thing is that you can integrate with all kinds of systems, such as Pardot, HubSpot and SalesForce in order to make the most out of your content and generate more leads.

You can publish your content to various channels, including websites, emails, mobiles and landing pages and they also provide extensive analytics for your interactive content.

Use the guide you’ve already created and add embedded files, images, videos and more to it in order to make it more readable. Your readers will then have to click to go to the next page and they also have the ability to leave comments, ask questions and interact with other users on the platform.

4.    MapMe

10 best tools to create interactive content

MapMe is a tool that helps you “tell better stories” by using maps, videos, images and words.

You can basically create interactive, 3D maps with images and videos that will help you take your readers and visitors on a fun journey. Users can also add their locations to the map, so they can get more involved in the process.

    Hi, Lilach!
Thanks for a huge comprehensive list of tools! I enjoyed your suggested tools.
Besides, I’d like to add online plagiarism checker to this list. It’s called Unicheck – unicheck.com. This tool makes your content unique.
I use it in case I want to be sure that my article will not contain a lot of words, similarities that unintentionally borrowed from the other bloggers.
Also my fav tools in use are SnapApp, Guides.co. And I’m interested in to try Mapme, Qzzr and Ceros. Thanks for recommendations!
Wish you a lot of subscribers,
    Whitney.

Thanks Liliach, this was really useful! Never hear of any of them before, but definitely I have to check some of them more closely.

I noticed that “Boombox is now Qzzr” so I guess they have bought Boombox or something.

Hi Vesa, thanks so much for your comment, glad you found the post useful:) Interactive content is a great way of diversifying your content and providing more value to your fans and readers.
And yes, it looks like Qzzr acquired Boombox, so will have to amend in future articles.
      Thanks again!

Great list Lilach! I know several tools from your list, and they are actually good. There is also Queezly which is a very easy to use app that helps to create 4 types of interactive contents: quizzes, polls, personality tests and ranking lists. They offer interesting options for lead generation. You can also try Queezly and why not adding it to your awesome list!

Great overview Lilach! I didn’t know guides.co and some of the other tools, while I am quite familiar with the domain.
For interactive quizzes and assessment, our tool Survey Anyplace is also well suited, and it is more affordable than some of the other tools – guess this is interesting for the readers 😉

Hi Lilach, this is a great list! Would love if you wanted to check out Weld as well. I’d say it’s in the same space as Ceros/SnapApp, but easier to use:
