Entertainment blogs that accept guest posts are a small group with plenty of authority. On my list, re-checked live in September 2026, 37 sites are tagged entertainment: 32 were live and 21 had a domain authority of 40 or more. Examples include flickeringmyth.com, tvovermind.com and hiddenremote.com. Check each site's current guidelines before you pitch.

Entertainment covers the things people do for fun: films, TV, celebrity news, pop culture, crafts and hobbies. The audience is huge and casual, which makes these sites attractive to almost any consumer brand, from streaming services and ticket sellers to craft suppliers and party businesses.

The flip side is that entertainment readers have short attention spans and endless choice. Editors want posts that people will click, share and argue about, so a dull pitch has no chance here.

This page pulls the entertainment sites out of my free list of websites that accept guest posts, which I re-checked site by site in September 2026.

Only about one in seven entertainment sites was dead or parked, and two thirds of the live sites had a domain authority of 40 or more. It's a small category, but the sites in it tend to be well established.

Which entertainment blogs accept guest posts?

Twelve live entertainment sites from my list, with their domain authority when I checked:

  • flickeringmyth.com: DA 82
  • tvovermind.com: DA 81
  • hiddenremote.com: DA 77
  • popmatters.com: DA 72
  • entertainment-focus.com: DA 70
  • worldofbuzz.com: DA 70
  • craftgossip.com: DA 59
  • craftbits.com: DA 56
  • theurbantwist.com: DA 52
  • listland.com: DA 47
  • entertainmentmesh.com: DA 42
  • planetdish.com: DA 38

The category also includes several very large lifestyle and news publishers, which run their own editorial processes, so I've left them out of the examples and you should treat them as long shots. Guidelines change, so read each site's current write for us page before you pitch.

Film and TV, pop culture or hobbies?

Entertainment sites split into a few clear groups:

  • Film and TV sites want reviews, recaps, theories and features on shows and films.
  • Pop culture and buzz sites want lists, trends and stories people will share.
  • Craft and hobby sites want projects, tutorials and ideas readers can make at home.
  • Culture and community sites want features on music, events and the people behind them.

Streaming services and ticketing brands fit best on film, TV and culture sites. Craft suppliers and hobby brands belong on the craft sites, where a project post can show the product in use.

What do entertainment editors want?

Timing and a hook. Entertainment editors plan around releases, finales, award seasons and holidays, so a pitch tied to something readers are already talking about gets a faster yes. Evergreen lists and guides work too, as long as they have a fresh angle.

They also want personality. A review or list with a clear voice and a strong opinion beats a neutral summary every time. Know the show, the film or the craft well enough to say something readers haven't already read on ten other sites.

Free guest post or sponsored post on an entertainment blog?

Free contributions are possible on smaller film, TV and craft blogs, especially from fans who can write fast and well. The bigger sites mostly use their own writers. Sponsored posts are faster and more predictable, which suits brands that need coverage around a release date.

How do you check an entertainment blog before you pitch?

  • Search site:domain.com. If very few pages come up, move on.
  • Read the three newest posts. Is the site still publishing, and who writes for it?
  • Check what gets shared. Social shares and comments on recent posts tell you whether real readers turn up.
  • Find a name. A real editor you can email beats a form that never replies.
  • Ask if posts are permanent. Some sites prune old content in clean-ups.

There's more in how to check backlink quality and my guide to high DA guest posting sites. Entertainment often overlaps with lifestyle and news, so my lifestyle blogs that accept guest posts and news blogs that accept guest posts pages are useful places to widen your search.

How should you pitch an entertainment blog?

Tie the pitch to a moment. "Eight shows to watch after you finish the new season of The Bear" is a pitch. "A TV article" is not. Send your title, two backup ideas and a line on why you love the subject.

Pitch early. Entertainment editors fill their schedules weeks ahead of big releases and holidays, so a timely idea that arrives late is a wasted idea.

If you're pitching for a brand, fold it into the fun. A craft post that uses your supplies, or a watch list that mentions where to stream, feels natural. A post that stops to sell will be cut.

Can you place an entertainment post on my blog?

Sometimes, when it has a business angle: marketing for events, creators and entertainment brands, or building an audience around a hobby. lilachbullock.com is a marketing blog that's been publishing since the dial-up days, with thousands of indexed articles, and my readers are business owners, marketers and entrepreneurs, mostly in the USA and the UK. Reviews, recaps and craft projects suit the sites above better. Guidelines are on my entertainment and hobbies page.

How placing a post on my blog works

  1. Email [email protected], or start on my write for me page, with your target URL, topic and niche.
  2. I reply with whether it fits and which format I'd pick: a new sponsored post or a link insertion into an existing, indexed article.
  3. You send the article, or I choose the right existing article for your link.
  4. I edit, publish and send you the live URL.

Accepted posts usually go live within 24 to 48 hours of everything being agreed. Placements are permanent. I invoice by PayPal, and if you're an agency, I never contact your client.

If you're weighing up where to place a post, how buying a guest post on my blog works explains what you get and what I turn down.
