Fashion blogs that accept guest posts are plentiful, but many are dead or only want products, not articles. On my list, re-checked live in September 2026, 145 sites are tagged fashion and wedding: 109 were live and 65 had a domain authority of 40 or more. Examples include chictopia.com, becomegorgeous.com and fashiongonerogue.com. Check each site's current guidelines before you pitch.
Fashion is one of the most searched guest posting niches, and one of the messiest. Many fashion blogs are run by one person as a side project, some are really style magazines with an editor, and a lot of them quietly stopped posting years ago. If you're building links for a fashion brand, or you're a stylist who wants to be seen, the real task is separating live sites from the graveyard.
This page pulls the fashion, beauty and wedding sites out of my free list of websites that accept guest posts, which I re-checked site by site in September 2026.
How many fashion blogs on my list still accept guest posts?
| Measure | Count |
|---|---|
| Fashion and wedding sites on my list | 145 |
| Live when checked | 109 |
| Live with DA 40 or more | 65 |
| Dead or parked | 36 |
About one in four of these sites was dead or parked. Fashion sites go quiet quickly when a founder moves on, so a list from two years ago will hurt you.
Which fashion and wedding blogs accept guest posts?
Twelve live sites from my list, with their domain authority when I checked:
- chictopia.com: DA 77
- becomegorgeous.com: DA 77
- fashiongonerogue.com: DA 74
- offbeatbride.com: DA 73
- greenweddingshoes.com: DA 66
- stylemepretty.com: DA 66
- collegefashion.net: DA 64
- apracticalwedding.com: DA 63
- thebudgetfashionista.com: DA 60
- makeupandbeautyblog.com: DA 58
- lovemydress.net: DA 56
- 40plusstyle.com: DA 53
The list also includes much bigger style publishers, which run their own contributor and editorial processes and rarely take outside pitches. Guidelines change, so read each site's current write for us page before you pitch.
Fashion, beauty or wedding: pick the right sub-niche
Fashion isn't one audience. A post about capsule wardrobes for over-fifties belongs on a different site from a post about budget wedding dresses, and a streetwear brand's story will bore a wedding planner. Before you pitch, decide which of these you're really after:
- Style and outfit blogs, for clothing and accessories brands.
- Beauty and makeup blogs, for skincare, cosmetics and salon businesses.
- Wedding blogs, for dresses, venues, photographers and planners.
- Fashion business and ecommerce sites, for tools, marketing and retail advice.
The last group is where a marketing angle works best, which is why many fashion brands place posts about running and growing a fashion business rather than about the clothes themselves.
What do fashion blog editors want?
Images. Almost every fashion editor will ask whether you have your own photos, and a post with strong original pictures is far more likely to be accepted than a wall of text. Make sure you have the rights to every image you send, and don't pull pictures from a brand's lookbook without permission.
Editors also dislike thinly disguised adverts. A post that reads like a catalogue page gets rejected. A post that helps the reader choose, style or save money, with your brand appearing naturally, gets read.
Free guest post or sponsored post for a fashion brand?
Free editorial posts build relationships but take time, and many fashion editors prefer to feature products themselves. Sponsored posts are faster and more predictable, so agencies placing posts for fashion clients often use them. Either way, run the same checks.
How do you check a fashion blog before you pitch?
- Search site:domain.com. If very few pages come up, move on.
- Read the three newest posts. Is the site still publishing, and who writes for it?
- Check where the readers are. A UK fashion brand gains little from a site read mostly elsewhere.
- Find a name. A real editor you can email beats a form that never replies.
- Ask if posts are permanent. Some sites prune old content in clean-ups.
There's more on this in how to check backlink quality and my guide to high DA guest posting sites. If your brand overlaps with lifestyle, see my lifestyle blogs that accept guest posts page too.
How should you write a fashion pitch email?
Keep it short and specific. Say who you are in one line, name two or three exact post titles, and say what original images you can supply. Mention the site's recent posts so the editor knows you've read it. Put your link request in context: tell them which sentence or section it would support, not just the URL.
Timing helps too. Fashion editors plan around seasons, wedding months and events, so a pitch about autumn layering sent in August will be better received than the same pitch in November. If you work for a brand, offer something the site's readers can use rather than a launch announcement.
Can you place a fashion post on my blog?
Sometimes, when the post has a business angle. lilachbullock.com is a marketing blog that's been publishing since the dial-up days, with thousands of indexed articles. My readers are business owners, marketers and entrepreneurs, with the majority in the USA and the UK. Posts about marketing a fashion brand, selling online or running a style business fit best. Guidelines for the niche are on my fashion page.
How placing a post on my blog works
- Email [email protected], or start on my write for me page, with your target URL, topic and niche.
- I reply with whether it fits and which format I'd pick: a new sponsored post or a link insertion into an existing, indexed article.
- You send the article, or I choose the right existing article for your link.
- I edit, publish and send you the live URL.
Accepted posts usually go live within 24 to 48 hours of everything being agreed. Placements are permanent. I invoice by PayPal, and if you're an agency, I never contact your client.
If you're weighing up where to buy, how buying a guest post on my blog works explains what you get and what I turn down.
